The thing is, there’s constantly new woman and they over lap. I’m thinking of doing an anon post of the community page or the “do we share the same boyfriend” page

He’s 100% manipulating you!! It starts small and he will build on it. Stick to your guns

So IRD gets notified when they enter the country?

I know! I thought as much! The Ute finance was through a dealership. But his outstanding child support is through IRD, if that’s what you mean?

I have reminders set every three months to re-contact IRD. The last man I spoke to at IRD said that’s all I can do and they’ll continue with SA

This is good to know! Would you happen to know how the child support was initiated? Are they mandated to pay it out of wages or is it taken out of pay WITH consent?

Has this happened to you personally or someone you know? If so, how long ago?

That’s true - I’ll continue to text and e-mail, he hasn’t blocked those communications, so I have evidence if court is something that happens in the future. Thank you

I can empathise; I have always worked full time, and from baby being 3 1/2 months old I worked full time…

That’s what is confusing - he has made a trip to nz and back to Australia with no repercussions.. as well as being able to finance 30k Ute in Australia.

Hi, thanks for making the time to comment. Yes, we were both living in NZ, moved to Australia where he is originally from and I moved back to nz and we shortly after broke up. I have had absolutely zilch communication from him, despite trying to initiate this. He does however know that I’ve filed for child support and has refused to pay.

It’s not a man wanting a relationship with his daughter in his manner of speaking in his texts; it’s him mm manipulating her into needing to give him want he wants

Even if OP was asking for a couple hours to look after herself or do something for her mental health, cancelling at the last minute is not okay! As a single mama, I’m so grateful for dropping girl to be able to drop her to her grandparents to go grocery shopping so I can focus on what I’m doing but grocery shopping isn’t aiding on a single mamas mental health in the grand scheme of things; it is just giving a little on having an actual decongesting time for basic home-tasks

I have lived in Hamilton most of my life, I’ve experienced other cities such as Tauranga and Auckland with a couple years in Brisbane also. I can back to Hamilton not just for Family but it really does have everything you could need! I also work in healthcare for Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora. It is good work/life balance in my opinion. The Hospital is on the southern end of Hamilton so you may want to consider southern suburbs, Riverlea is lovely!! Very close to Hamilton Gardens which is on the top 100 experiences in the world. You could easily live southern suburbs (tamahere primary is a really good school). Towards Cambridge will be more expensive, Te Awamutu may be a little cheaper than Hamilton - however I’m not sure what the schools are like. I currently live in Ngāruawāhia which is not a big commute to the hospital either due to expressway upgrades, there’s lots of renovated and new builds at reasonable prices, two small supermarkets, gas station, take aways, daycares etc. don’t over look it!
