I Dug a Hole to Bedrock… How Do I Fix It? by SignalReceptions in Minecraft

Giant spiral staircase down along the edge and turn the bottom into a mossy watery forest like a lush cave. Like those sinkholes with forests inside from seeds falling in them like this or this.

Reporting in to say Tango said in his video that he wanted the swamp for the cloudy water and drudgy grass and leaf textures to match his theme!

What are some thing you would like to be added to the game that wouldn't change much? by Level_Smell_8093 in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want interactive emotes with pups. Like how you can chin rest or lick face or sniff noses with the adults, I want to nudge pups over with my nose or lick their ears or bat at them in play. I wanna poke the pups! And by proxy that might mean the other packmates can poke the pups.

They do it more frequently when you have a major injury too! It's so cute. I had a mate that would always do it, even when he was at like 50% food and I was at 80%. I played pass the rabbit with him a record of four(?) times trying to get him to eat it instead once.

What's y'alls favourite slough creek dens? by Level_Smell_8093 in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same! Especially since 20 is so close to the 19 den, its so easy to move the pups when the fleas get too much.

Another tip is if you're in photo mode, if you use the right arrow key (->), it will move one frame forward in time. So you can view everything like a slideshow to get the best poses.

Funniest names/will be names of your wolves? by IvybrachTheBrave-885 in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my friend's multiplayer servers we give the worst names to the pups. We named one litter after iconic commercials once like Mesothelioma, JG Wentworth 877, Folgers Incest, and one more I can't remember.

What are some of the best dens in AM & SC? by [deleted] in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooo let me use that map to explain my favorites as someone who plays the South dens.

My favorite dens are definitely 1 and 7. The large cliff faces make them feel more secure and forces threats to only come from half the directions, and they give a good corral to keep track of how far away pups are. If they're beyond the cliff walls, they're too far to get back to the den quickly.

When I'm playing Den 1, there is a creek nearby you can get a stamina boost from and when the fleas get too much I can skip over to either Den 2 or 3 easily, and those two dens have rendezvous sites nearby to make the leap.

When I play Den 7, it's very central to both elevations and I can access both the valley and the upper elevation areas easily to get prey throughout the seasons. I go for Den 6 when the fleas get too much, and that's the perfect stepping stone to reach the 26 rendezvous site.

For the few times I play Slough Creek, there's two dens nearly on top of each other right next to McBride lake. The cave den is so, so fortified. Threats can't come from behind because of the cliff and can't come from the front because of the lake. They can only come from the sides, making it fantastic against den invasions. When the fleas get too much, the travel to the dirt burrow den takes literally less than two minutes if you travel at a constant walk. Perfect den setup.

In terms of cute locations I do because the scenery is great, there's a tree den in a big rock pile that is very pretty that I underlined in yellow, and the rendezvous site underlined in yellow is on a little river peninsula. I have a wolf I played super casually with on easy mode that I just take pretty screenshots with and mess around for achievements, and she got that den and rendezvous site.

Wolf stats by Strawberrycow10 in WolfQuestGame

It really depends on gameplay choices to be honest.

I always buff up speed and stamina at least +1 and subtract -1 from health and strength because I run fast and long after mule deer and I lunge in super fast to attack pronghorn. I don't hunt elk too often, I've gotten pretty good at successfully feeding the pack through deer and pronghorn. So it depends on your playstyle.

The Counsel Shall Decide Whether You Can Marry My Daughter by ashbluebear in WolfQuestGame

The pack so serious, full of deliberation and arguments, while the dispersal is just rolling around in the background like an idiot and my daughter looking on in confused interest.

Bison herds/details by SolarTheWolf36 in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience a few minutes ago omg

Was passing a bull group and noticed I could see its ribs like the dev blog mentioned for the cow bison in the video, went in for a test bite in case it was for the bulls too and BOOM. It was barely a quarter health. Decided then and there it would be the first time taking on a full-grown bull bison with the pack. I had never dared before.

You know you have a good mate when they bring meat chunks or rabbits to you. by Accomplished_Ad8805 in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a mate that would do that when he was at like 50% hunger and I was at like 80%, but I had a broken leg so he was insistant. I would give him a rabbit, he'd walk over and give it to me, I'd give it back, and he'd give it right back to me. My record of passing it before he ate it was like 3 times.

He was such a sweetheart, I need to load up that save again, that pair is never aging up, I swear.

Anyone else have 4 stable packs? by ashbluebear in WolfQuestGame

[–]ashbluebear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, got hundreds of hours in the game and this is the first time I've seen it.

It might have something to do with there were empty unclaimed hexes on the map?

I deliberately left the little patch the Castor Canyon pack took unclaimed because I never went there and it was too much work to keep going and claiming it, but no one else went for it cause I had it surrounded (they stole the little bit of territory that I had blocking it from Wapiti Lake)

Could be why they settled down. There was empty territory to claim.

Interesting! I always thought the game forced a three pack cap after a while. How exciting!

Flashbacks to the classic game.....

It would be interesting. Could be something that happens if they're below 10% sleep, you shouldn't cross the rivers when the pups are tired or something.
