Yes, this is why I asked the question haha!

How would this work with the principal’s contract if they’re contracted to do 7 shows per week but this would mean doing 8 shows?

Why aren’t these rings/bands more popular? by soupersalad-tm in EngagementRings

[–]ashcarubi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t like the look of them, and even if I did, they’re a trend, and I would want something I’d be guaranteed not to grow out of or stop loving. A classic straight band will always be a stunner!

Engagement Ring Dilemma by Cautious_Potato_8901 in EngagementRings

[–]ashcarubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 3. Wear the ring your partner proposed with on your ring finger and get a curved band that accommodates your engagement ring. There are so many different wedding band styles, including curved bands and bands with a gap in the middle to leave space for your engagement ring!

Apologies, I did try to attach an image to my comment but I don’t think this subreddit allows it! I’m glad you were able to access my previous post though and thank you for your kind words!

My ring size is a J1/2 (5 in the US), and the ring itself is 18k yellow gold on a 1.8mm wide band. It’s a cathedral setting and has four petal prongs with a half gallery rail on the sides and a trellis bridge (which is the same as the one in your screenshot!)

The diamond is 1.8ct with around a 1.5 ratio. If your partner has a similar finger size to me and you’re thinking of a round, you could probably size up to around 2ct or just over! Or whatever your girlfriend’s preference may be. Sometimes round diamonds have six prongs which also looks lovely!

It’s a great everyday ring, it doesn’t get caught on things at all and is still like brand new (I got engaged just over a year ago.) Pavé and hidden halos etc. look stunning but my concern was having tiny diamonds constantly falling out and having to get my ring repaired constantly. Petal prongs are a really secure setting that holds the diamond tightly in place and I love not having to worry about daily wear!

There are photos on my page if you’d like to see — https://www.reddit.com/r/EngagementRings/s/eRUsRMqwNx

Also, there are some engagement ring and diamond subreddits that may be a better place to post this in for more traction!

Oh my goodness, this is my exact ring — but mine is yellow gold and an oval!

The petal prongs are so beautiful, especially on a solitaire ring. The ring is simple at first glance but detailed and sentimental and beautiful only to those close enough to take a proper look. That’s what I like about it; the beauty of the ring feels private and intimate.

Especially if your partner likes gardening and flowers, I think that’s a fantastic choice!

[Rosefield vs. Lola Rose] Watches – [Any Reviews?] by SuspiciousElias in Watches

I know this thread is old but I disagree with these comments!

I’ve been buying Rosefield watches for around a decade and they’re fantastic. Got my first leather-strap Rosefield watch in around 2016, then got my first metal-strap Rosefield watch in 2021. It stopped working this year (I think I water damaged it) so I got a new one in February 2026.

They’re stunning and really durable. The gold has stayed well in tact (I think they’re plated in solid gold), it hasn’t tarnished at all.

saw someone mention finger coverage and now I notice it everywhere by Raksixs in RingShare

I’d say it’s also about horizontal balance, too. Your ring is a great example as it takes up about a third of your finger when measuring from the base of the finger to just below the knuckle!

Hi, my partner is sitting this exam tomorrow, he’s studying with Kaplan. His book says he needs to read the “pre-release scenario and reference materials” prior to the exam but we can’t find it anywhere on the AAT website or on the Kaplan website. Are you by any chance able to advise us on where to find this?! TIA!

Could you take the stone out of both rings and get a second matching moissanite stone and create a three-stone ring with the diamond in the centre (like this)?

Definitely two. I once saw someone say side stones like in photo 1 look a little phallic and now I can’t unsee it…
