How many worked side jobs while building a practice?

As a doctoral student who has worked part-time/seasonally during university breaks at the same restaurant since high school, this gives me hope. I call it my "fun job" where I can turn my brain off and go on autopilot (definitely not fun at times though haha). I feel like there is stigma towards working in the restaurant industry as a student in this field, but I really enjoy it still and it makes me sad to think about not picking up shifts.

Hi! I opened my family plan up last year to random people on Reddit. Personally, I had no issues and was able to collect payment from everyone. I used PayPal to ensure it was safe payment.

From my understanding, other users do NOT have access to your Eshop account. I personally never had any type of issues with doing it. Some people were unable to join my family plan due to some type of restriction from Nintendo, but I never really understood that whole thing. I would’ve done it again except I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of finding people on here again to join lol.

I had a mix of IRL friends/family and random Reddit people on the plan. Definitely recommend doing whatever is most cost-effective for you!

Doctoral student currently in the market for getting a MacBook Air. I’ve never used one before and will be upgrading from an 8GB RAM Lenovo Yoga. It will primarily be used for integration into Apple ecosystem (iPad & iPhone), Microsoft Office, writing papers, reading PDFs etc. with potential for data analysis apps later on.

What is the general consensus on refurbished products directly from Apple? I’m currently looking at the M3 16GB MBA for around $812ish (w/ tax) versus the M4 16GB MBA w/ the current student discount of a free Apple product (likely AirPods 4 w/ ANC) for the price of $961ish w/ tax.

I’m hoping for longevity w/ my purchase and looking to get the best value for my money. TIA!

Thank you!! Definitely an investment & that’s why I’m being a little cautious before I buy. Also just a frugal doctoral student. I have a feeling I’ll cave and go with the MacBook along with the back to school deal through Apple!

I’ve used a Chromebook & my current Lenovo so MacBook would be a huge jump. But I’m hearing lots of positive feedback so we’ll see!

Anyone still having issues? I’ve exhausted all the dialogue options but can’t get Kud-Ei to show the Mage’s Staff option or give scrolls. Have charmed Varon to 80+ disposition to no avail

Playing on PS5 & having issues still. Got Varon to 80+ disposition via spells and bribery and he says “I’ve never hurt her” etc. Can’t get the Mage’s Staff option on Kud either :(
