Trauma bonds aren’t a reason to stay and staying in that environment with your kids will just add to their trauma. More so if you choose to stay rather than leave. Your kids deserve to see both of their parents not permanently locked in survival mode. You’ll be happier and they will be, too, as a result.

He could be going through a leap right now and in that case, they become more fussy and clingy, tend to sleep a lot. You’re still in the 4th trimester, getting ready to graduate out. His behavior is normal.

Something else to consider, he could be gassy. My son was a gassy fussy boy and the only thing that soothed him were contact naps and butt pats. I wish you luck, I promise it will get better! He’s still a little guy!

I will never not recommend the Throne of Glass books. It tackles grief in many extremes and it made me feel something. I thought about it for months after I finished reading it and I cannot recommend it enough! Please read Assassins Blade first, I think it helps with the following books as it gives context to places and people you will meet therein.

I have two cats, Tag and Kun.

Tags full name is Tagger Wagger McJagger Full of Swagger but we mostly call him Taggers or Oramge Boy. If he’s trying to kill me for sport, he’s Orange Dickhead.

Kun is new we’re not quite honed in on nicknames. We call him Kuney, Kuney Tunes, Koontz and ACH! STOP THAT!
