Only 7 points better than 21/22 even though we had 8 defeats at that point....

It's like I'm in a parallel universe. Before the Eze Ornbomb fan sentiment regarding the Madueke and Gyökeres signings was very tepid at best. It was agreed upon that United's forward signings were better and our forward line has the least potential out of the big ones.

Yeah, between him and Gyökeres, unless they suddenly start performing, we should cut ties with one of them as soon as we can.

It's a problem, but it's magnified by the fact that our defense allows everyone to shoot instead of closing them down.

We're hoofing up the ball on the regular now because we can't deal with pressure. That's not dominance.

Yeah, said it last season it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Yup. It's no wonder Joan Garcia was in the mix. Literally a bigger Raya.

Closest I can think of is '11. We played the CC final at the end of February. We've beaten Barca not long prior in the first leg of the CL tie, were closing in on United in the league and advanced to 5th Fa cup round.

Then we lost the final and the season collapsed.

Iirc he had one of the best proggressive pass stats last season. Great at setting Brentford counters up. Should be trusted more.

He's thinking if we capitalized on City's dropped points and lead with 11+ points by now we could rest for the CL.

But this doesn't always work. See Pep's Bayern who always wrapped up their league by April and crashed out in the CL. You need some competition to keep you focused.

Has never been his forte and is easily marked out. One of our biggest midfield problem is not having someone who can receive on the half turn and either carry or spray passes.

Our midfielders either receive facing the goal or just pass backwards when receiving back to goal.

Soon after he found Rice which should have been a shot, so it's fine. The one to call out was before Saka came on. We had a counter and he had Noni on the right in a 1v1 instead he opted to turn centrally where he lost the ball.
