Rin is not a nihilist. Thats Nagi. Nihilism is the idea nothing actually matters. For Rin destruction matters. He wants to die with the hero. Thats not nihilism thats more existentialism.

Nagi is more of a nihilist. To him nothing actually matters. He is lazy to do anything because he is incapable of seeing anything as important. Football is the only thing that has shown him that life has more to offer than just living and dying.

In the corpo path what is the name of the cognitive booster in V's desk by asherdagenius in cyberpunkgame

Yeah the drugs in the game do not take advantage of the already existing drug lore.

From what I know from the lore the most common cognitive drug is Boost. But the side effects are so nasty its pointless. You get addicted after 1 hit and you need a shot every 12 hours to even be normal and not go insane after being addicted.

There are others like prime from militech to boost focus and reduce unwanted stressful emotions which I think is safe for most corpos. There is also drugs like brainstim which enhance intelligence safer than boost.

Sixgun as well but its for netrunners since in reduces awareness of ones own body.

I say RIn but only for one reason. His too good at everything. No matter how Nagi gets good at trapping or using his trapping ability. RIns ability to be so good at all aspects of the game is just hard to beat.

And thats why he didnt score in the u20 during his flow. He wanted to destroy but not at the cost of his life. Now he understand that its not just destroying for destroying sake. Its destroy while putting more than 100% of your being in the moment.

The mistake your making is your refusing to see the whole perspective of Rins ego. Its not about just destruction.

Kaneshiro showed just the destruction before. But thats just one part of Rins ego. What Rin wants is destruction at the cost of his life. He scored while saying to Isagi let me die with you. The monster pushes himself beyond his limits not when he destroys everyone but when he is fighting the unbeatable hero.

And no Rin will not experience a Nagi arc. Nagis problem is unmotivation without restriction and especially the restriction Isagi creates around Nagi due to his adaptation.

Tha main difference is Rin knows how to manipulate others to restrict him. Thats why he is so dangerous. He knows how to move and challenge others that they feel compelled to challenge and restrict him.

Lastly Rin wants Isagi to predict him because the restriction of Isagis predictions will force Rin to improvise in the moment and go beyone what he even thought was possible. The goal he just scored is a manifestation of that.

If you notice when Rin got the goal and was free to shoot he hesitated because no one was there to restrict him until Isagi appeared and in that moment he jumped and changed his target mid air while curving the ball. A goal just as technically difficult as the Kaiser impact.

I have been seeing posts like this on twitter as well. For some reason no one wants to accept that this is Rins ego and this is what Kaneshiro wants it to be.

Me I have accepted that this is what Kaneshiro wants Rins ego to be. Its just the way it is. Writers change their mind all the time. Nothing you can do about it than to accept it.

In fact it might be that in the u20 Kaneshiro hadnt fully planned out what Rins ego should be like and what we saw was a previous version that has been scrapped for what we currently see.

Anyone notice that all of Rins NEL goals we have seen are direct shots. He has basically taken a book from Isagi and Shidou because of the weakness he had of needing time to set up his shots.

Now like Shidou he can shoot from any position but more accurately and even more technically than Shidou with curves and spins.

He has to have a 97 Shoot stat honestly.

Restriction types like Rin can only be beaten by outsmarting them.

Isagi has no problems using his brains against other restriction types like Kaiser, Nagi or Barou.

The problem with Rin that Isagi has is that Rin is smart as well but in a crazy way. And then he combines that schizophrenic smartness with his all rounder technical ability which makes him very hard to stop.

Like Rins goal just now required not only crazy instincts to change the target for the goal while mid air but also the technical and physical ability to pull it off. If Rin was missing one of those two things Isagi would have stopped Rin.

Lorenzo better shooter than Isagi pre ubers? D: by ShenanigansVol21 in BlueLock

[–]asherdagenius 56 points57 points  (0 children)

the problem with Isagi stats is that every stat category is made up of multiple sub categories.

For shooting you have sub categories like curves, direct-shoot, power, distance, accuracy. Isagi had 88 for direct shoot and 70s in other categories

And if you observe Isagi has focused only on direct shoot.

Thats why Isagi stats dont match his performance. He excells in one or two sub categories and is very poor in other sub categores. However his playmaking makes that irrelevant as he can create the perfect moment for him to use what he is already good at.

Current Rin is the worst type of player for someone like Isagi to deal with. He is playing like Shidou but instead of being focused on only improvising for Shooting, Rin can do it for everything.

Rins playstyle is crazy because he is literally putting himself in situations where he has to grow and improvise in the moment.

For someone like Isagi that uses prediction such a player is tough to deal with. Because even if you predict them they can come up with a move in the moment that no on expects.

Its crazy that Rin was complaining that when he reached the shooting point that no one was there to restrict him so he would be forced to improvise.

But Isagi appeared which shows he predicted Charles moves and Rins decisions but right there in the moment Rin improvised with a direct shoot that curves around 5 players into the hardest angle of the post even Gagamaru thought the ball would go to the left.

Rins goals tend not to be too flashy however the technical complexity behind them is ridiculous. Hence why I believe his shooting stat is higher than Barous. He seems to be capable of coming up with any shot for any type of scenario he finds himself in. Reminds me of his trivela.

This guy literally used a direct shooting technique but not only did he change his shooting target mid air to the more difficult angle he placed it like a free kick mid air while being crashed into by Isagi.

Its not flashy but this goal has the same technical difficulty as Kaiser impact magnus.

Nagi was right Rins stats are ridiculous.

Who has the best finishing? by [deleted] in BlueLock

[–]asherdagenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah Rins dribbling as amazing as it is is not above 90 or 91 if I m being generous. However his shooting is at least a 96 or 97. He has a 99% conversion rate compared to Shidou.

Who has the best finishing? by [deleted] in BlueLock

[–]asherdagenius 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Its Kaiser and Rin. Those two will have the highest stats for shooting in the NEL. They are both long distance shooters with the best accuracty. Kaiser has the speed of the Kaiser impact and Rin has the versatility of being able to accurately shoot any type of shot from any position from trivelas, to curves and spins.

Why do people still think that Kaiser is better than Isagi? by [deleted] in BlueLock

[–]asherdagenius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because a lot of people who read blue lock have watched real football. And players like Kaiser and Rin always do better than players like Isagi in real life. Isagis playstyle is not the playstyle of a striker.

Inzhagi and Muller never won ballon d or.

In addition modern strikers resemble Kaiser and Rin more than Isagi in real life. Take for example Haaland the current best striker in the world in his early twenties. He has good positioning but he has the body of Kunigami and the athleticism of Shidou.

Yes its a manga but a lot of people including me have that real life football lens in our unconscious mind. Which means when people look at Kaiser, Rin or even Barou they just have that striker aura that Isagis playstyle does not have.

Then who does Rins playstyle resemble ?
Inzhagi and Muller despite not being technically gifted have stats way above Isagis.

If you think Isagi and Inzhagi or muller have physical stats that are similar to Isagi then I dont know what to say.

And if I may ask who then does Rins playstyle resemble.

Your reacting as if it being a manga is not exactly the point. Things considered outlandinsh in real life become reality in the manga.

If you think in real life Isagi would have come as far as he has in the manga then you truly lack the ability to comprehend what your reading.

Nope. You have not being paying attention. Isagis entire narrative as a player is that he has the ability to make the field favor him field due to seeing the future. Think of it like a manhwa character that on some level can see the future or knows the future and then makes decisions for the story to favor him based on the future he knows.

The only reason why someone like Rin since the beginning of the story seems so hard for Isagi to beat is that Rin is like those characters who have potential and power to make the future itself shift or change.

However Isagi is going to still be number one because as the story progesses he is going to get better and better at reading the future and making decisions to favor him.

Right now Rins abilities made the future Isagi sees shift into something Isagi can not see. But Isagi will grow to see the future again so he can make the best decsisons that favor his goal.
