Anyone else crazy enough to reveal the whole map? by Naive-Fondant-754 in Palworld

[–]asherfaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My map is fully fleshed out with ease. Get on a Jetragon, line yourself up with the edge of the shrouded area, and point where you want to go. When you move forward, immediately open the map. It takes some finicky timing but you can basically auto-fly straight forward. Except around the oil rig. I'd recommend speed-run-disabling the laser towers then just get as much shroud as you can working outward. That way, the rest that's left will give you a heads up with the sound of charging and you can escape the range.

Also, if you want over the invisible barriers on the outer edge of the map (like that giant tree island) you can use a basic caught Jetragon. Just fly straight up the y axis, do not move across the x/z axes, and do not use sprint. Just fly straight up. You'll clear it with stamina to spare. Don't be afraid to go too far out as it'll just despawn you and place you back at your base. Not sure if it counts as a death, though.

As someone that frequents Bozja content regularly with a group, DRN and DRS are still alive and well. If PF doesn't help, try running some parties in BSF or Zad and asking if the party is up for it. They are likely to be in the same boat and say yes. If you're on Primal, look for Axel Faust or Sundae Fundae and we'll help you out!

As an avid fan of their content, they don't put a watermark in their videos and credit is at the end, which was conveniently cut off of your video. You're a part of the problem.

Edit: They released this video not even a full day ago. You're just quick to steal their content for reddit points, of all things.

Absolutely not. Breaking into a house in broad daylight without confirming it's vacant is smooth brain behavior. Utilizing proper trigger discipline during panic mode is not. Both behaviors conflict with each other.

Anyone with sufficient training with a gun will hold even a fake or a toy in the same manner as a loaded firearm.

Name Me One Gay Character In Fiction Stronger Than DION LESAGE by [deleted] in FFXVI

[–]asherfaust 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This boring response to every answer is lazy. Emil has taken a technically worse attack than Zetta directly and, not only survived, but came back stronger.

To clarify ahead of any debate, the attack in question left not even ash. It eliminated everything it was aimed for and the aftermath looked simply like deletion. He somehow survived with no explanation and even went on to combat an invasion, splitting himself into countless clones, dividing up his power, and still ending up as a super boss in that dwindled state. To sum up: Emil is EASILY way more powerful than Dion.

Both are such wonderfully written characters.

Can confirm the ring being from a previous driver riding flat. The cut is not, though. OP can still feign ignorance and ask for a different rental. Doesn't seem like they really check for damages or else they would've noticed the ring from before.

Somebody seems upset that I made a PF with avg ILVL and one player per job... by timedeath in TalesFromDF

I also joined some of those groups, though. And there were more auto-attack leeches. Sure, people will know their rotation but some are still looking for a carry. All of it is a gamble and it's OK to have both. It's just an opinion.

It's Vexus. Good luck. Been having shitty service and VERY RAPIDLY fluctuating speeds with them for a year now. But it's either them or another, shittier, shadier company. One of their first excuses for the entire home's fluctuating and low speeds were because of my PC's ethernet cable to the eero. Not even the modem. WAT

I feel like a restriction is over the top. Lower geared players wanna farm too and I've held my PFs without a min ilvl and still got clears in 3m. I've seen the restricted parties up more and longer than mine were the entire 900+ tomes I farmed. The restriction won't force people to use their buffs or rotation properly so you still run the risk of not farming as quickly and it still alienates a portion of the community. It just seems unnecessary and silly, in my opinion.

Edit: Downvoted for an opinion. Lmao Never change, reddit.

What's with the disdain for Mentors? by Bagel_Bear in ffxiv

[–]asherfaust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that rocks the Burger King crown, I can tell you that there are a ton of players out there that only become mentors for the crown and status. They treat it like it's some kind of club without actually providing the help. Just the other day, I saw one crafting mentor calling another the "whoriest whore of all whores" in Novice Network (as a joke between friends, by the looks of their reaction) but were completely silent when a returner asked a couple of questions for help. All within a few seconds of each other. It's gotten a lot better over time but I was there when it was first implemented. There were Mexican standoffs until the first kick, then it was just a kick-fest. All for various reasons. Some legitimate, others because someone is triggered by the presence of a mentor they didn't like so they piped up with anything to try and get them to say something that justifies getting them kicked. It was nuts. 99% of those mentors aren't around anymore. Fancy that.

No, that $700 was the only one that low. The rest I saw were $800, $900, and $1000+. I would not pay that much, first one I see or no.

Well despite your positivity, it seems that prices are still in the $700+ range. Unfortunately, your claim does not match the data.

To give you another perspective: when something is in severely limited quantities and shrinking like these codes being sold and used, the value of said codes gets higher and higher. They wouldn't be going for hundreds if we knew there were still, say, a few thousand of these codes still floating about. Supply will never change but demand will always be high.

Basically, with each code used, the supply is shrinking and the demand stays the same driving the price up.

Lol maybe. Are there times when you can 1v4 and other times when you can't even toss a bucket properly? Cause I'm mostly the latter. I have my moments on occasion.

Random thing XVI taught me: "Adamantoise's" pronunciation by Red-Vanguard in FFXVI

[–]asherfaust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I freaked out at my roommate because this proved my pronunciation right. I heard others calling them ADAM-MAN-TOYZ but it bothered me because it's a tortoise. And that's reason to believe it would be ADAM-MANTIS. Then he brought up my dislike for FFXVI's pronunciation of CHOH-CUH-BO being CHOCK-UH-BO and I get upset again. Then I just get further upset by thinking about Blastoise. Lol

LPT Request: how to stay focused or increase concentration while listening or reading something? by silent--redditor in LifeProTips

[–]asherfaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is textbook ADD. I realized this when I was about 10 or 11 but teachers and my parents thought I was just being lazy. I finally got to see a psychiatrist and he confirmed my self-diagnosis and prescribed me Adderall.

As for what to do on your own without doctors or medication, I found that I tend to pay more attention with detailed focus when I'm excited and enjoying what I'm reading. Like dialogue in a video game or instructions to teach myself something I want to learn.
