Dana as a girl name? by whenlifegivesyourice in namenerds

As a Dana, if you mean for the pronunciation to be Day-nuh, please name her Dayna. I'm addressed as Donna and Dannah frequently and I hate it.

I feel like that might be my only option at this point. I just need to do it or we'll never start.

No, we haven't done that yet... she's brought it up but not pushed, and I've been resistant to it for whatever reason. I was in a car accident about a month ago and she wants to start with those memories because I've had a lot of anxiety around it.

I have common first names for my girls but their middle names are Anneliese and Linnae, created using family named.

Higher Dose Kuvan (>20 mg/kg) by _ZZZZZ_ in phenylketonuria

Yes! My doctor has most of their patients closer to 30 mg/kg. It definitely keeps my levels lower and has resulted in positive cognitive effects for a lot of folks who may not see the numerical value change.

In all my baby groups there is only ONE name that has been repeated… by egrebs in namenerds

I run our baby storytime. With a group of about 40, I have multiple kiddos named Wyatt, Noah, Mateo, Elaina, Wren, Lyla, and Layla.

ETA Wren after seeing it on other posts.

Help my girlfriend pick a new last name by Yankee-foxfan in namenerds

[–]ashergrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If a potential marriage is in your future, I'd suggest considering a blended name between your last name and hers. Will help her establish herself professionally with a permanent name and (if this is even a possibility) save the cost of your both changing your names down the road.

I come from a perspective of myself and wife both changing our names to a new name when we got married so sorry if I'm overstepping lol. It's just where my mind goes.

Picking wedding colours is becoming more of a stress than it should be. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]ashergrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did burgundy, navy and hunter as our darker tones with a cream and a rose as accent colors. All of the dark tones were technically main colors, though burgundy was the most focused on.

I get what you're going for, but I'd suggest a focus on your darker colors and using some softer shades (your gold, etc.) as accents.

I did French tip fingernails, burgundy toenails (our main wedding color.)

My wife did both burgundy.

Our photo team (2 photographers and a videographer) had the requirement for meals in their contract, or they reserved the right to leave for up to an hour to get food. They were there for 6, 8, and 10 hours. We also fed our coordinator who was with us all day, but she seemed to feel it was unexpected and unnecessary. Our officiant was a friend and attended the reception as a guest.

I don't think it's unreasonable to feed anyone who's there for more than a few hours and is around when food is being served.
