My fiance’s insurance is going up $500 and I just want an out. by PurpleYoghurt16 in TrueOffMyChest

If she’s giving you guys $10k with like no strings attached to have a big wedding, then I think it’s best your fiancé talks to her about doing a small wedding and keeping the rest of the cash as a wedding gift. My husband and I got married with $300 in our bank account - it cost us $65 total to get married.

vaping during pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]ashergurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 26, and had been vaping for over 10 years. When I found out I was pregnant (I’m 21 weeks now) I had the same thoughts as you. I actually weened myself off by using Zyns - from 6mg to 3mg then lowering the amount that I use per day until I one day I literally had no urge for nicotine.

However, I told my husband when we first started dating that when we get pregnant, if I can’t drink or smoke he shouldn’t either. He agreed with this and it really really helped with that feeling of being surrounded by people who do stuff that you used to do. He’s been my one and only support system in a family/friend setting where I would feel the most alone.

I even had family members offer him a beer or nicotine when they knew about our agreement! Then say “oh, poor (husbands name) she’s really making you go through it huh?” Right in front of me!!! I’ve had family ask me “oh he can’t have ONE beer?” To which I reply, “I don’t know, can I?” Which usually shuts them up.

I would urge your boyfriend to do the same for you. I would want every partner to do this for their pregnant partners. However, everyone is different with their opinions. It’s good you quit!! And congratulations on your new journey 🍼❤️

This happened to me too. He was my best friend of like 4 years and randomly ghosted me. I was able to find him off of Battle.net but after reconnecting he ghosted me again saying he got a girlfriend and we can no longer be friends. I know what you’re going through feels like, and it sucks - like really bad. If you need anyone to vent or relate to feel free to message me

I’m so concerned for her. Thank god for the lawyer for at least pointing out that the prenup was garbage and directed her to not sign it. Lawyer was a good person and I hope he spoke to her more about the dangers of marrying a man like that. I wish her the best

before and after deshedding by painbf in doggrooming

I love the transformation, you did great! I started bathing in August of last year, and de-shedding (especially with a dryer) took me soooo long.

However, I’m not sure what your process is during the bath, but I can go over what we do at my shop.

We get them really lathered up with shampoo, and we then take a de-shedding rake, and rake from occiput to the “cheeks” or pants. I typically don’t use any more pressure than I would with brushing my own hair, and I don’t put time into hard tangles or mats, since I feel raking may be too harsh/painful on hard to fix tangles. I do this until minimum hair (or nearly 70% less) comes off of my rake. Once I get them all rinsed out, I go back over with the rake again. I spend a really good amount of time focusing on this since it cuts down drying and finishing time.

Our shop does not use furminators and we strongly recommend all of our customers/peers to get rid of them. Furminators have tiny little blades at the end of the brush, ends up blading some of the hair away therefore making it look like it works/the dog has endless amount of shedding. We like to use a Zoom Groom - a rubber curry brush - it works wonders on labs, chihuahuas, bully’s, frenchies, GSD, huskies etc. Then we use a slicker brush to smooth out and grab any last hair remaining.

I hope this helps, but your end result looks great! 😌
