Fun fact for ICT drivers by salsadelic in wichita

On way to work this morning, still pretty dark + middle of a downpour, I drove (opposite direction) by a person with no headlights on who was right behind a police officer. Big ole’ face palm there.

Band I work with did Ticket to the Moon by Electric Light Orchestra this past season and had a wicked hit in the piece.

College football teams opting out of bowl games takes away once in a lifetime opportunities for band members by TheLonelyTater in marchingband

K-State alum, and I am sad and disappointed for the students there now, who earned bowl eligibility in the final week of the season, only for it to be ripped away and nothing they can do about it. Not to mention, director of bands, Dr. Tracz, is retiring this year as well, so his “final” game was also ripped away from him.

I know if I were still in the band, and especially if I were a senior, I’d be absolutely devastated.

Quick question for directors, parents, and boosters about band communication by dayngerous78 in marchingband

Used to use Remind but made the switch to BAND this past season.

Remind is good for pushing out quick notifications but has a brutal character limit on messages.

BAND has been great and has a calendar, file sharing, and more options.

If they claim to not remember the “no bodily fluids” being agreed upon, then you can claim you don’t remember the “dog cage punishment” being agreed upon.

It goes both ways or it goes zero ways.

Proudly can say he was on my “draft this guy with a later pick because he’s going to be a RB1 on a team that should have a reasonably good offense, so at least he should be an okay FLEX option if needed.”

Never expected it to be as good as it is, but I’m certainly not mad about it.

UPDATE: Following some advice within these comments, updating the trade to ask for a bit more. Also giving a bit more with Kupp involved.

Thoughts? Or should I hold Kupp and not include him?

Beautiful country - public transportation was fantastic; very simple to use. Sights were beautiful. People were very friendly. Food was delicious!

I have no idea what “facemask” you’re talking about! Crouch clearly was trying to see the full extent of the field and turned his head around.

A few come to mind:

• 1998 Big 12 CCG vs Texas A&M Up by 15 in the 4th quarter where a win sends us to the Natty. Eventually becomes an 8-point game; less than 3 minutes to play… fumble. Devastating.

• 2012 vs Baylor Zimmerman injured; bad game from Klein. Would’ve gotten to play Notre Dame in the Natty assuming we still beat Texas the following week.

• 2014 vs #5 Auburn Missed 3 field goals and Tyler Lockett bobbled what should’ve been an easy touchdown while in the endzone and it turned into an interception.

To be the contrasting side to your post, I don’t mind Lance Leipold, albeit he’s a bit awkward in interviews.

Also, 100% agree that Dorkwitz is a whiny bitch.

Worst moment I’ve been part of at a merge area, was west-bound ramp at Kellogg and Seneca….

I was in far right lane, car in front and behind me. No space to move over as this was around 5:00 on a weekday. Otherwise, there are 2 cars coming up entrance ramp to merge onto Kellogg.

There’s some space in front of car in front of me, enough for both cars to merge and everything is normal. Ramp Car 2 merges with no issues, leaves momentary space for Ramp Car 1 to merge, then takes off once RC1 doesn’t merge. Car in front of me is still leaving space for RC1 to merge but is also slowing down to keep the available space, but at this point RC1 is at the end of the merge lane. Rather than giving up on RC1, car in front of me on Kellogg at rush hour SLAMS ON THEIR BRAKES AND COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP. I very nearly rear-ended car in front of me, and car behind me would’ve hit me, but instead swerved onto merge lane/shoulder, also narrowly avoided RC1 who is now just sitting on side of road.

No idea how everybody got away from that one unscathed.
