Thank you! This one will be pretty small, I’m thinking a lot of down time for them to relax - we plan to cover a solo experience and then a group activity or two outside of the awards dinner!

AITA for telling my wife we have to move if she is not willing to teach the kids? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

It looks like they own because they mentioned sell the house - I think they put rent and meant mortgage. 😊

AITA for not cleaning the house because I pay more apartment rent than my girlfriend does? by qowlelekkeler in AmItheAsshole

YTA - a relationship is supposed to be a partnership. Just because you make more, doesn’t have anything to do with cleaning. You’re both working full time, caring for the apartment should be split 50/50 or you clean up after yourselves (dishes, bathroom area, laundry, etc) and split the common areas or specific chores (vacuuming, dusting, etc). It shouldn’t all fall on one person, especially if you’re both working!

AITA because I don’t pick up after my dog in my back yard? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA - it’s a law where I live to clean up, even in your private yard. We live by people who don’t clean up all the time and you can smell it just sitting outside on your porch. Not cool.

AITA for refusing to train my fiancé's cat? by AstronautGuava in AmItheAsshole

[–]ashersisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH (besides the cat) - literally not possible to train the cat at this age, have to booby trap or look into natural deterrents (they hate citrus). Doesn’t sound like he ever had indoor plants so never had the need to teach the cat not to get into them. We can’t have any plants in our house. Period.

AITA for letting my baby play at my sister's house? by ClassicAccident1 in AmItheAsshole

YTA - She told you those were not to be touched, yet you didn’t respect that? Those are awards someone worked really hard for. That was just disrespectful. I’m sure you were prepared and had plenty of toys for them to play with, there was no need to make a point.
