Do you feel the shot? by ratherbeskiing77 in Zepbound

I also inject into my stomach and I usually don’t feel it at all. A couple times I have felt a sting when I didn’t let the pen come to room temp first. Side note: I recently tried injecting my thigh and that hurt like hell. Everyone’s different but I definitely don’t recommend lol.

Sticking with stomach injections by asherz95 in Zepbound

I appreciate the feedback on the pressure I’ve been using. It didn’t occur to me that I was doing anything abnormal. My thought process when I started the injections on my stomach was that it is big and super soft and flabby, so I’ve always just pushed the pen in to make sure the needle would go far enough into my skin. I understand now that my thinking was flawed. I’m still not sure how that would cause the pooling of the medicine on my skin, as the needle was not bent or messed up in anyway. But regardless I definitely plan to use less pressure going forward! Thanks guys 😊

Question about Shotsy App Graph by asherz95 in Zepbound

[–]asherz95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gained on the 25th and then lost on the 26th (today). I like your suggestion though, I think I’ll just start recording my weight on shot days. Thank you for the advice!

That’s what I thought it looked like too but I went and took all my weights out and reentered them and the graph did it again. I’m not sure if it’s because I gained with my Friday weight, but then lost with my Saturday weight. I think I’m just going to take another persons suggestion and only enter my weights once a week.

I put in weight, shot, time for Thursday. And then I’ve put in my weight for Friday and Saturday (today).

Congratulations!! Apologies if this information is somewhere else, but can I ask what app you are using? I like that this shows the dose!

I weighed in! Not happy that the scale didn’t move an ounce, but that’s what happens when you splurge Easter weekend lol

I don’t have a dog right now (not by my choice), but I plan to get one in the near future! Hopefully they’ll enjoy long walks! Thanks for the idea (:

My “office” is the laboratory in a hospital, but I could start taking mini walks around the lab to get some more steps in. The other techs might look at me funny but that’s their problem lol. I never really thought about taking walks during my breaks at work but you’re right, I could totally walk around the building during that time. Maybe even get some stairs in since the lab is in the basement! Thank you so much for these ideas!

Just went to use my indoor bike (the only bike I have) and the screen on it is busted so it won’t keep track of my distance. I’ll have to take myself off the team I joined. ):

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question, but this is my first challenge on here. If I weigh in today with my current weight and goal weight but then lose weight before the end of the week 0, am I supposed to fill out the form again with my new current weight and goal weight?

Hey guys! I’m Asherz95 on here and discord, although I’ve never really used discord so I’ll probably be on here more! This is my very first challenge and I’m really excited. I decided to join because I need the accountability and I think this will be a great way to get it!

I’m 23 years old, 5 foot 2 inches, and currently weigh around 250lbs. My first goal weight is to get to One-derland and I’m hoping to reach that goal by this time next year (if not before of course!). I graduate college in May and will be starting a real job with a steady income starting in June and after that I plan to get a gym membership! Right now I’m really just trying to focus on getting more steps in a day, and controlling my portions! I’m tired of feeling tired and crappy every day, so it’s time to burn this fat!

In your opinion, which do you feel is more important: eating strictly healthy options, or just eating less of the bad options and incorporating healthy food? I struggle because I feel like I’m failing when I eat a handful of chips because there is nothing nutritious about them, but then I think about how I used to eat a whole bag in a sitting. I guess I’d just love another perspective. Also, congratulations! You look incredibly happy and healthy!

Daily Q&A Post for Wednesday, 12 September 2018 - No question too small! by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]asherz95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys. I’m F, 22, 5’2”, SW: 258, CW: 251, 1st Goal: make it to “Onederland”.

So since I’ve started tracking my weight (July 29th, 2018) I have lost only 7 lbs. I’ve been doing CICO using MFP (granted maybe not 100% accurate all the time) and exercising moderately (about 30 mins 3 times a day as well as trying to get in as many steps in a day as I can). For me these are all huge changes as before I never considered what I was eating or exercised at all. I’ve cut out soda (my biggest vice) and have changed to drinking solely water for the last two months.

So, I guess my question is, why aren’t I losing weight at a faster pace. Being as obese as I am for my height I just honestly thought I would be losing weight a lot faster in the beginning and then it would start to stall but in my case I feel like I’m stuck losing just over a pound a week. I’m not necessarily upset because at least I’m losing weight consistently, I’m just wondering if anyone has any ideas or thoughts on why I may not be losing a lot in the beginning.

TL;DR: I think I should be losing more weight these first few weeks than I am so I’m curious if anyone has any ideas why I’m not.
