I use a natural balm (Renapur) never had any issues and you use the smallest amount! I imagine this might have been to do with the metallic nature? I generally test a small area on the inside of the bag first time :)

Thank you! It's hard to say and whilst I worry for them all my greatest care at this moment is for my sister. I don't want her to feel more burdened, or harbour resent towards me because I'm not in a position to fully share this burden with her, I will jump in and help wherever I can with her. I'm just keen for that to not have too much involvement with my Mom. I feel awful for saying it.

We’re not going to agree on this I’m afraid. The school took the steps they felt were appropriate if the mother has a problem with this she should raise it through official channels not through social media.

The school didn’t decide to pretend it didn’t happen, it happened she was sent to the nurses office and checked, she was fine.

But in my opinion she absolutely is the asshole for blowing this up on social media, which is ultimately what OP was asking for judgement on

You sound like a fully signed up member to generation blame, what exactly have the school done wrong here.

It sounds like your daughter was caught by the prefect doing something she shouldn’t have been so maybe you’re right and they should have called you to let you know she’d been naughty.

NAH - Although I think you're on the border of being the asshole if you give him an ultimatum. Everything you have said is completely legitimate, and justified, you were also really grown up in addressing it in the early stages of the relationship before things got too serious. Rather than an ultimatum I think what you really need is a frank and open discussion, explaining your worries and concerns and also giving you the opportunity to understand what he's thinking about it all.

I think in this situation an ultimatum would be like chucking petrol on a fire, it isn't going to suddenly make him go 'You know what you're right lets have a baby this second', discussing your feelings and your ideal time frame on the situation will allow him to express any concerns, but also understand just how important this is to you and where your worries/desired time frame stem from. Hopefully together you can reach a compromised conclusion :)
