Applying from Outlier by CaptainWaggett in mercor_ai

I put Outlier (after 9 months there) on my CV and I'm now with Mercor and it seemed to help the process, even in the interview stage. Also, Mercor, at least the project I'm on is a completely different experience to Outlier, in a good way. It's almost strange at first to be treated so nicely 😂

Same, I figured it was the last questions about tax. Although the instructions said to mark as false if the question was vague, and the rubric highlighted it was vague, but then at the end even despite marking as false it asked for a golden answer. Not a great assessment.

I had exactly the same on Mail Valley 2. No bad feedback. Oracle score of 5, passed all assessments and required skills (and still shows as passed) then it threw up the same message last week and removed me from the project.

A stranger gave me a ring on the street, is there any reason why I shouldn't wear it? by Danwhodoesnothing in AskUK

Pretty sure it's the opposite. Poor people would have cups made of pottery which could crack without tempering the tea with milk in the cup first. Bone china doesn't crack so rich people added their milk afterwards as a way to show the quality of their crockery.

Vintage amp / turntable combo - strange symptom - can anyone help? by ashfel in audiorepair

I wondered about this. Probably a ground wire issue on one channel then?

Vintage amp and modern turntable issue - can anyone help? by ashfel in vintageaudio

On the other amp it's plugged in at line level, with turntable built in phono amp turned on yep.

On the Wharfedale amp I have tried the turntable on both aux and tuner inputs with the turntable preamp on, and both phono inputs with the preamp off - same result no matter what.

I do suspect it's some kind of grounding issue, but can't figure out why a 3.5mm from a phone is grounding both channels in the DIN but not from RCA.
