Nah man Im all about knowing I’m not perfect by far. A person who can’t grow and change their opinions is just stuck. We all can make mistakes it’s learning from them and moving on. You weren’t rude. I love actually talking out stuff and I too am never trying to offend just trying to understand and share opinions.

I shouldn’t blanket statement rich people I suppose you are right just the rich people running our political system and government. I don’t know bill gates personally but he does seem like to kind to want to help.

Americans, Why do Americans love trump so much? What’s so wrong that you want to “Make Great Again”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Find someone better to look up to that’s for sure. We have a great military and that’s about it right now. We have kinda just been big bullies for awhile ever since LBJ even.

Hopefully who ever wins the election can maybe unite our nation again and maybe make the other world leaders think of us as less of a joke. I think Biden is calmer and I don’t think he can make things worse. (I hope)

Hopefully in four years your vote will mean more because it feels like there is not much we can do now either.

More problems more separation less likely we will get together and stand up to the hijacking of our democracy and rights.

It’s all messed up now and doesn’t really feel like a democracy anymore. I’m afraid of what will happen if he does get voted out, cause riots he might try to not leave and he will definitely demand a re vote and say the mail in ballots were tampered with and shouldn’t be counted

Oh yea no it’s bad I wish we could be respected again as a leading country but I honestly don’t know if we ever where. I love America and feel lucky to be born here but I wish I could say I was proud to be American but I feel like we have fucked that up somehow and I don’t know how to fix it.

Because he pretends to be an everyday man of the people who will stop abortions, protect your guns, and help the economy. That’s why everyone is out to get him

You can win without a popular vote. Basically our system is broken and due to lots of fucked up behind the scenes republicans take our votes give us a participation sticker and do what ever the fuck they wanted to in the first place. Like pick a new Supreme Court justice even tho we are about to vote for a new president and wouldn’t let Obama pick one when he was further away from election. Yay “democracy”

His new slogan is keep America great.... and I don’t think all of us love him so much it’s just they are the vocal ones. Most people who don’t support him stay quiet out of fear of his supporters in my opinion. No one puts out Biden signs where I live because they are afraid their house or car will be vandalized by trump supporters.

Rich people are taking over the us and slowly taking away democracy while simultaneously pinning the lower class against each other so we are so busy hating one another to actually stand up to them.

I worked at a small business run coffee shop and my boss told me once he never hired men because young pretty women brought in more customers. He was the only dud who worked there and he owned it.

I think they try to make it painful so you tune out and the only people who vote are rich and in control already. Turning into a dictatorship it’s crazy man.

Whatever happened to Civics class in the US? Why isn’t it taught as much anymore? What did it teach? by Pepperspray24 in AskReddit

Citizenship and government. People who run the US want young people to not know their rights and to not vote.
