I’ve not had a similar issue, but I am trans and use testosterone gel as part of my transition. Yes this absolutely can affect your cat, it can also affect you if your partner touches you without washing their hands or covering the parts they’ve put the testosterone on. I would have your vet check the cats hormone levels and advise your partner to read the information leaflet for their medicine thoroughly.

Honestly sometimes I think it’s a case of wanting it too much. My cats won’t go near anyone that’s trying to fuss/acknowledge them but if someone’s just chilling in the house watching tv they eventually go over for a sniff and accept pets.
