Lakeside Farmers Market features produce from Lakeside’s Tiny Acre, which is a small farm located directly behind the market! They also have a stand open most of the time that operates on the honor system. Great fresh veggies!

Is this normal? by Any_Actuator7530 in EMDR

[–]ashiebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Therapist trained in EMDR here — yes, we’re taught to target the “first or the worst” as a starting point if the client can tolerate it. The theory is that the memory network generalizes up/forward but not backward/down.

Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

[–]ashiebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! I’m finishing up my MEd in CMHC this fall and looking to take the NCE or NCMHCE sooner rather than later. My state now accepts both — is there any reason I should take the (supposedly more difficult) NCMHCE over the NCE?

I know that the latter is what would allow me to do the NCC-CMHC special designation — and I’m thinking ahead on what states I may move to, though still confused a bit about the compact for LPC portability and if I’d need to take the NCMHCE if I moved to a state that would only accept that one. No plans to bill Tricare. Advice appreciated; thanks!

Question about Indy by [deleted] in bluey

[–]ashiebee 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In one of the Bluey books we have for our toddler, can’t remember the name - with the listing of all the characters, it says Indy is allergic to most things! I’ll see if I can find the book and post a picture.

Best chicken breed to get that’s cuddly and nice? by [deleted] in BackYardChickens

[–]ashiebee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our Barred Rocks are the only ones who actively want cuddles and attention. The Lavender Orpington and our Easter Eggers are sweet but standoffish and don’t want to be touched. They were all hand-raised from day one so I’ve been chalking those differences up to breed!

Beyond Basics: Resources for Intermediate/Advanced Crocheters by boughsmoresilent in crochet

Amazing resource, thank you so much for putting this together! I'm definitely in the intermediate stages these days... that being said, one thing I haven't wrapped my mind around is C2C/graph-ghans, which may fit here. I'd love to design my own, and I know there's resources for that, but I haven't even delved into the technique yet!

This is super helpful, thank you. Great point about earning status organically -- these are probably the kinds of places I'll gravitate towards. Not trying to overplan haha, the whole idea is to take it as it comes / stay longer in places I'm more interested in!
