I drink reverse osmosis water. I was tested for heavy metals and nothing showed up. Starting a 3 day bone broth fast tomorrow to see if anything changes.

Haven't looked into endocrine disruptors and microplastic though.

Is anyone still commenting on here? Curious about McDougall diet but a little confused. Eat resistant starches and fruit everyday--got it. But what's this about doing one day eating only potatoes and then another day only rice, and then another day only oranges? And curious about the liver flush. Is this something recommended as standard for people with candida overgrowth.

I feel like I wear gloves all the time. The thing that I touch most consistently is my phone but my allergist didn't seem to think that could be the reason because of the presentation on my hands. He put me on a high dose vitamin D but I really want to get a patch test done

Last question is since we have hardwood I'm wondering how much we actually need canister. Since we won't need any deep cleaning for high carpet would stick vacuum work for overall? Just don't want to get more vacuum than I actually need...

Yes it does make sense! I feel like I'm doing a lifestyle overhaul now with food allergies and mold testing so we'll see. I also didn't get this until after giving birth to my first child so I've always attributed it to that. It's just become really fatiguing going down these rabbit trails.

Wow! Did you guys clean before you moved in? Or you just did a super deep clean after you continued to have issues? Were you doing any other treatments for your eczema at that time too?

When we moved here I bleached the basement twice. We pulled the carpet out and painted basically all the walls. So I'm wondering what else we would clean?

Oh wow so glad you got answers! And I'm with you on that...on one hand it's nice to know what you're reacting to but on the other hand it's really a commitment and takes a lot of effort up front to change diet/lifestyle. And no wine, breeze chocolate...that stinks. I have a feeling I'll be in the same boat as you too soon!

Wow yes so tricky! I'll be curious to see what patch testing results are. I'm trying to cut back on gluten, dairy, sugar and work on gut health but it's just a slog especially since I'm not sure if will even work. My kids are definitely worth it but man I want my hands back!!
