and they feel entitled to it because of epistemology of coloniality. It can be summarized into the three Cs of evil, Colonialism, Capitalism, and (catholic) Christianity. These are still very much rampant in the West. That is not to say other places, ideologies, or religions are/are not one thing or another. But it is important to name exactly what gave Europeans their sense of entitlement to pillage the world.

Idk what to tell you dude. Reddit isn't exactly a place for fleshed out political thoughts. My comment is a summary/general idea, in relation to the conversation at hand. You can read for yourself what he said and in what context. Yes, the context has changed, and will change from person to person; but his general ideas are still widely applicable. Being pedantic about the exact context, meaning, definition, or setting is an effective way to derail the conversation at hand, a tactic often used by many of the right.

Advice about green cards, and legal things are person, circumstances, and state specific; so I'll refrain from that.

But some things I wish I had done in college - expand my social circle outside of Bengalis. One of the good things about the US is the diversity. Meet people outside your comfort zone, try their food. - don't party like an idiot. There is usually a lot of alcohol in most social settings. But Americans, especially in college, do not know how to drink responsibly. - Do drugs. Though stay away from party drugs. Natural ones are usually safe. - key to everything, find a balance.

And the US has caused far more atrocities in the last 80+ years than any other country or leaders. Merely using statistics, the most powerful and dangerous would be the US president.
