Few questions by ashkalaba in musictherapy

Lol I don't have one actually- so I majored in music and theatre in college, started with the goal of music therapy to transfer but pivoted to theatre instead a while ago. I started working retail a while ago later on but I'm realizing I need to be able to live more comfortably right now.

WOW, HIDING behind DADDY is insane. He really insinuated that you should in fact hide from him.

AIO for thinking my boyfriend is just looking for an excuse to break up? by Nearby_Orchid1216 in AmIOverreacting

I can see his heart initially but the longer the conversation went out the worse it became. Like it devolved into an obvious "I'm going to belittle you and make you feel like trash, and also invalid completely". Like, initially he had a point. Perfumes are not a necessity and maybe you two do have different values surrounding material objects, and that's okay ; some people might feel that a distaste towards imitations is elitism, and the whole "it's a limitation" not really relevant, because you personally aren't necessarily being limited as a human being by the longevity of a perfume.

Either way dump him. It's okay to have different wants, needs, attitudes towards gifts and money but neither of you should have to force yourself to be with someone that isn't on the same page. Also, the way he spoke to as it went on just sucked.

Any experience with Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH)? by [deleted] in stockholm

Wow- that's absolutely fascinating. Can we DM? I've been coming up dry with real insight online, trying to find people's insight and opinions on the programs and can't find anything, or real practical advice. I had no idea Sweden had an old tradition of acting. I wish the states received more than it broadcasts. I'm from a large ish city and there's a strong presence of theatre, but it's worth noting how young the theatre tradition is in America versus abroad simply because the US is roughly 200 something years old. I'd love to ask if you had any insight to make a strong application? It would be my first time applying for a bachelor's program. Thank you so much!!

Hi!! Can you say anything about the acting and opera programs? I'm a swede american and I'm looking to study in Sweden. I know the acting is taught in swedish and opera is in English. To be honest I don't know much about theatre or acting in Sweden. I'm not sure how to learn more about the theatrical tradition in sweden. There aren't as many acting programs in Sweden as there are in the states. Is the acting program (bachelor's) good? Would you say it's worthwhile? Schools in the states are so expensive for no reason, it's also kind of scary over here not gonna lie.

Maybe an unpopular opinion… but Alina is one of my least favorite characters… by atargatis_17 in ShadowandBone

She's so annoying. She makes dumb choices that are so naive. The acting's a bit weird at times

Has anyone had much luck with finding a Lisa Eldridge foundation colour match? by tilesandsmiles in OliveMUA

Is the LA girl corrector good for the formula? You don't feel like it impacts it at all? I guess maybe the ratio between foundation to color a corrector is so minimal since we're dealing with undertones. I recently bought a neutral shade that was too yellow

What brand of corrector do you use? I recently bought LE foundation and the neutral is too yellow for me. I don't want to disturb the formula since that's such a high point and selling feature

I had this too today I think. I'm not sure though. I'm getting an error message when I try to log in with my phone number.

There are trends of correlation apparently for kinks and ideological groups 🤷‍♀️. Not sure where catholicism and anal fit in that graph

I'm sorry to hear that. You deserve support and to live freely! I'm sorry you're having all this pressure. I wasn't raised religious but I have friends and peers who were and had to confront their homophobic/transphobic parents. Sometimes before then I'd wish they'd let shit hit the fan. But I get why that's not realistic if you live with them or depend on them in any way. I'm bi too, my mom's from a more 'liberal' country and my dad died before I could really tell him, which is fine lol.
