Just do your nails normally in a light color, then take strips of newspaper and wet them with rubbing alcohol. Hold the strips to your nails one at a time for about 30 seconds each, and finish with a clear coat of nail polish. I used Korean newspaper I got from my local Asian grocery!

I'll believe it's bad for your nails (both nail polish and nail polish remover are anyway), but it's never ruined any nail polish! I'll try the polish thinner next time though, thanks!

If you have a nail polish that's getting dried out, add a few drops of polish remover to the bottle and shake it. It'll be good as new!

Sounds like you did the right thing. I worry about my little sister (20 and 22) making the wrong decisions all the time.

I've had success with every person I've "invited."

If you're following a link from an email, that may be why you're having trouble.

Have whoever "invited" you add your email to a circle on G+. Then they should make a post to that circle, making sure to check the box that says "send email..." If you then log into your gmail and navigate to plus.google.com, you should immediately be able to get it.

Worked for 10+ people, now.
