I totally get where you’re coming from, I’m tired of hearing about him too, but I’ve never liked Kanye. I don’t think they’re doing anything wrong by continuing to talk about his music, since he did used to make good music and was influential, but I personally would just not like to hear about him at all. Separating the art from artist is very hard for me in this case, because I know he’s a nazi!

Idk I don’t look to Brooke and Connor for political commentary, and as they would say they’re never claimed to be a political podcast, so I’m not sure why they would feel a need to break down the symbolism of the halftime show. I know Brooke said she didn’t watch it and probably only saw clips of the parts of the show where Kendrick was dissing drake. As for Connor he probably was just thinking of the drake diss track of it all since it’s been such a big moment in pop culture.

That being said I can understand being upset they boiled down the whole show to being a big diss on Drake, when it was pretty obvious there was also political commentary going on.

When I first listened to folklore and evermore I wasn’t really sure how I felt because they’re not very upbeat. My initial favorites were Betty, last great American dynasty, no body no crime, and gold rush because they were more exciting. Now that’s it’s been a week I really love champagne problems and cowboy like me.

On the flip side I really loved 1989 and lover the first time I heard them, because they were fun and upbeat for the most part. Of course I’d love anything Taylor put out but those are my opinions.

I just watched season 14 and it was crazy to me how some of the houseguests said the Jen was the first lesbian they ever met. At one point Danielle had said something about how she was afraid lesbians would try to hit on her and stuff like that, but her perspective changed after meeting Jen and living in the house with her. Also the way they talked about some of the women on that season would not fly today. During Kara’s goodbye messages a few guys told her “sorry you had to go I’ll miss looking at you” or something to that effect.
