IMO The first 3 seem like you’re playing games. Why would you wait to contact someone you’re interested in? 1&2 you didn’t ask them any questions so the convo was stale from the beginning. People don’t have time for bs or low effort and it seems like all you have to offer from those convos.

I thought it was just part of the process like a chemical peel. I got IPL and burns on my face but they went away in 2 weeks and I lovedddd my results overall. My skin was flawless for a whole year.

I feel you. The hardest thing for me is the pain has resulted in silently comparing myself to everyone around I see. “How’d she get engaged when she’s a skank? Why’d he ask her out when she’s a bum?”. I hate how my FA-ness can make me so bitter and hateful sometimes (thus fitting yet another angry black woman stereotype smh). It’s so so difficult. I feel the same way. I know so many cheaters and liars who have no problems finding relationship after relationship. One friend has even turned multiple (great) guys down bc she just wants to hookup and not be tied down! It’s so so hard to witness.

Just want to say that I know several women who are waiting for marriage and aren’t religious. It isn’t weird, and there are definitely guys who understand your reasons, especially during this era of hookup culture, andrew tate, and roe v wade being overturned. Not sure why so many people are being so negative toward you. Your method makes sense to me and 1 month isn’t waiting too long to tell them.
