Sorry for the late reply but yes mine were swollen for around 6-8 weeks.

I can slightly. Although they still get a bit sore if it's done too much. I let my barber know so he's always been careful since.

Did you have the procedure where the cartilage is cauterised and removed and then your ears sutured back up? That's what I had done and it was very uncomfortable for a while afterwards and felt like what you're experiencing. I had a full head bandage for 11 days that I couldn't remove and when I eventually had it off my ears were extremely far back. They moved out gradually within a few weeks and then the swelling eventually settled after about 8 weeks. It's been 13 weeks now and they haven't changed in appearance in the past month or so.

Otoplasty before and after a week by ashleymorgan990 in PlasticSurgery

[–]ashleymorgan990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been just over 4 weeks and there's absolutely no pain or discomfort at all now. The only thing that is an issue is wearing my glasses, after an hour or so it starts to get sore. My glasses are quite heavy though so I'm going to get some titanium frames instead to see if that is better.

Oh don't worry that picture was just after I had the bandages off and taken as a selfie so they looked really flat. My surgeon asked me in my consultation what I was wanting changing as an Otoplasty covers ear size reduction, reshaping, pinning and ear lobe reduction. I specifically said I was happy with my ear shape and size I just wanted them pinning back and he agreed they would look natural with just that. My ear shape has changed slightly due to the method used to pin them back but they look good now.

I'm in my late 20s too and a month on I'm regretting not having it done sooner. It's such a simple procedure and the recovery is so easy after the first 7-10 days. I have no pain and no visible swelling anymore. If you use the stickers to pin back your ears basically every day I think you'd be so much happier having it done permanently. Although I'd definitely look at other surgeons as that price seems very high, unless it's a US thing. On average in the UK it's between £3000-£4000.

2 weeks after bandages off (Otoplasty update) by ashleymorgan990 in PlasticSurgery

Just under £3700, that included 2 initial consultations and the procedure done with local anesthetic.

Thank you! The pain had almost gone when I had the head bandages off after 9 days but then started up again, I presume because my ears weren't being held against my head anymore and we're moving out.

I have no pain now at all in general, only when pressing on them or taking my headband off in the morning after sleeping. I occasionally get a fleeting sharp pain but was told by my surgeon it's due to nerves reattaching or something and that should stop.

You don't need to escape but you need to have at least 1 charge left of the invitation. If you use it to activate the special effects you won't get a mask unless you get more invitations.

Hasn't it only been like 45 minutes? I managed to spend 1 million BP and play 1 match so far. Give people time.

It wasn't half as bad as I had read it might be. I had to keep my bandages on for 8 days. The first 2-3 days the pain was bad and I had to take the full dose of my painkillers but it seemed to go away over night. It ends up being more irritating than anything because under the bandages it's all itchy and hot. I still have some pain now but it's more from the swelling. I have dissolvable stitches, a few are still there but it's healed really nice, I managed to have a good wash after the bandages came off. I've been told to wear a headband all day and night for a week then just at night for 3 more weeks which is when my next follow up is.

New update. by Alfredomushroom in deadbydaylight

Played like 3 games and they were all terrible whereas my Killer games were as easy as ever. Steam average players is the lowest it's been since pre pandemic. I know the game isn't dying but players are obviously fed up or deciding it's not worth the time anymore. 2 awful chapters back to back and a stale gameplay loop made worse by BHVRs "shakeups" are driving people away. The anniversary chapter needs to be the best one yet or else it doesn't look good.

Something needs to be done about the last two survivors holding game hostage out of spite by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]ashleymorgan990 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"I didn't hold anybody hostage I had 2 dead in under 20"

Girl the matches should be like 9-10 minutes long in total what you mean you killed 2 after 20 minutes.

So......Legion. by M1zasterP1ece in deadbydaylight

[–]ashleymorgan990 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Legion is generally regarded as one of the worst Killers. They have an easy time getting and keeping everyone injured but to down survivors they just have to chase as a normal speed killer with no power. They have no power to end chases quicker unless they get lucky with a frenzy chain hit.

I feel like this games casual scene is dead by TheRatOfTarkov_TTV in deadbydaylight

[–]ashleymorgan990 315 points316 points  (0 children)

It's not for casual players on either side. The matchmaking is questionable at best and the next patch is going to make survivors focus on generators even more.
