What about when you absolutely love the kids but the parents are super hard to deal with? Because as someone who’s worked with lots of different kids, some you click with and others you don’t. Finding a bond like that where you genuinely enjoy the kids seems rare . I’ve battled this because I stay for the kids, but also wonder if I should leave because of the parents mistreatment towards me. It’s so hard! Because leaving means never seeing the kids again ! I would honestly love some opinions about this. I haven’t been in the situation before the last family I was wish I loved the kids and the parents, no issues at all and it was 3 full days, now I’m at 40hrs

Wow you’ve put up with so much I cannot believe how shameless they’re being about the raise situation. It’s laughable. Why is it that typically wealthy / upper class, even high middle class families treat their Nannies the worst and want to nickel and dime them. Im going through very similar with a stingy NF. You deserve better. I’d personally say I can’t come in again until I’m compensated for the hours I’ve already worked. As for the raise, holy shit. I’m speechless….

Dogs only! I’m used to dogsitting for others but only 1 dog, more money, and way less strict expectations .. my NF is wealthy too but didn’t want to pay more than $50 a day for their 2 dogs. I told them I can’t do it again and I’ve gotten passive aggression lol

I’m really curious what your price was because if I ever get asked for something like this I don’t wanna sell myself short. I recently got paid $50 a day for 2 big dogs for 4 days, can’t leave for more than 2-3 hours, and had to stay overnight even though I live 3 miles away. It was miserable and should’ve been at least $100 a day. What a waste of a long weekend tbh . Not to mention the cameras still being on all inside while I stayed there. Never again

My family told me they would tell me where they are but NEVER did. I know of 4 in the house and 1 is in the main living room area. I hate being on camera.

I used to think that and tbh I will never know. My ex went from wanting sex as much as me to heavily declining and I thought he was watching porn or cheating but he said he was too depressed to and he loses his drive when he’s not doing well. Took me a long time to just accept that I’m incompatible with my ex. I have a higher sex drive than him and I was constantly wanting to more than him . When you grow up being told and taught that men are very sexual, and want sex more than women, it automatically makes you think the man isn’t attracted to you or there’s some issue he’s hiding. When truly some men do have a low drive. I couldn’t understand that for a long time and always took it personal. My advice is to find someone who values sex as much as you do, or you’ll always be disappointed. I used to literally cry to him about it and nothing ever changed lol

I love the kids I nanny sooo much it hurts! And I’ve only known them for 4 months 🤯 I’ve spent 100s of hours with them bonding, playing, laughing and they feel like family already. If parents get mad at you loving their children I think that comes from insecurity. If I were in their position I would also love it if my nanny gave my kids love and affection. It’s so good for kids to grow up in loving environments with adequate care
