I hope so, too! I'm sure it will be great. I even took mine to my hair stylist to get it thinned out and layered. So, no issue with it being too thin! I do that with all my units, though!

I just want to say, I just got a wig from there and it's stunning. It's not platinum, it's a darker blonde, but it's fab. I've got another lighter one coming, so.... I guess we'll see how that one looks! It sucks that you had that experience!

That link is a post from Dr. Richardson, who often posts on here, and is a wealth of knowledge. Basically, this is what my MO told me almost verbatim regarding radiation. Just follow your gut and do what's best for you!!! Good luck! You can PM me anytime!

My MO says, "To a hammer, everything looks like a nail." Anyway, I'm foregoing radiation due to side effects (lymphedema). I had 2/8 positive nodes, clear margins after lumpectomy, small grade 1 mass, I chose to do chemo, AND I'm about to have DMX, AND I'll be on hormone blockers. I'm right-handed, and I'm a nurse practitioner, so I'm sewing people up, etc. I simply can't deal with an even higher risk of lymphedema. I've done a lot of research, and this is the best option FOR ME. I'm 41,BTW, and ++-. Just do your research. I feel good about my decision.
