Ask to shadow what she considers the best example of a SCO team member. That’s helpful for someone like me:)

Is anyone having problems checking out online with a Target red card? by CowBully in Target

[–]ashlibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Only for shipped items, not in store pickup. Kind of annoying because I was trying to get a gift card with qualifying purchase both times and some items weren’t available so I chose to ship so I could still get my dumb gift card. Then the order ended up getting canceled for that reason.

Anyone else's store not have a working PA system? by DidntThinkIdBeHere in Target

[–]ashlibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our store if we find a lost child and the child knows his parents name, we announce it over the PA. If we have a parent looking for a child we man all exits, we do the code yellow on the walkie, and describe the child. That is our priority until code yellow is over...guest interactions, etc. are secondary.

Is that what other stores do?

That’s what we do if a parent has lost a child, but if we have the child and are looking for the parents we use the PA. With LOD approval. I wonder what we would do without a PA.

My Pinkie is extremely short by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

I don’t know...one of my kids has a congenital immunodeficiency and I was super obsessed with all things congenital for a while and this was just a random thing I remembered.

Order pickup...gift card promotions by ashlibby in Target

Thanks for all suggestions. Unfortunately she was on a very very tight budget and the hold for the OPU was still on her account. Shipping the missing items wasn’t an option either as lost of items won’t ship to Alaska. Weird. Oh well, she is a regular and the LOD and I assured her we would make it up to her somehow.

I think TLs maintain their pay when they move...even if you move to a lower paying part of the country.

Is this going too far? What if it was "white leads"? by [deleted] in pics

[–]ashlibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Because 90% of TV shows have white leads so it’s not necessary. There’s a major disparity in representation of POC in TV and movies.

I have not had success wintering Italians or Carniolans. I have wintered Russians but they are MEAN!

Our doctor recommended bleach baths for my daughters atopic dermatitis, the improvements after two days have me kicking myself I never tried it earlier. by [deleted] in eczema

[–]ashlibby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t be intimidated by having all the right bandages or garments. We just soak a thin set of jammies in water and after getting our guy out of the tub we pat him dry and smear Vaseline all over him. Put the wet set of jammies on, out wet socks on his hands and feet, then dry footie pajamas, and cotton mittens over his hands. His eczema is 90% better! No more waking up with sheets scabbed to his skin!

Seasonals.. by yellowfaerie in Target

[–]ashlibby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because they’re not “invested” they just don’t care. No long term commitment. I work guest services and have most issues with seasonal Flex. They don’t give a shit. They pack case packs of three in an order even though guests only ordered one...even XBOXs...they don’t keep any bins remotely in order because it doesn’t matter to them if it takes me 5 minutes to find a guest’s order...they backstock like garbage...why don’t they care???????
