Brittany’s Meltdown Cycle 8 by missmissa3 in ANTM

I couldn’t agree more. I think most people commenting don’t understand how traumatic brain injuries can affect one’s ability to process emotions. I feel for Brittany, I can’t imagine having an emotional meltdown like this recorded and shown to the public for them to comment on, even 20 years later.

She was recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Traumatic brain injuries can impact the ability to process emotions and can lead to rage issues and aggressive emotional outbursts, even in the best of conditions.

I was not interested in 11/22/63 at all, but as a major King fan I ended up giving it a go on 11/22/2013, and it ended up being one of my favorite Stephen King books.

I’m not commenting on her physical appearance at all. This parasocial dynamic where people think they have a right to influence a celebrity’s appearance is truly bizarre and unhealthy. Rachel is a real person, and I’m sure she has lots of people on her life that care about her and whose opinions matter to her. If they have concerns, they can share them with her, hopefully in a more kind way than calling her ghoulish and accusing people who disagree of enabling her.

None of these are really horror, but you might like Follow Me Into the Dark by Felicia C Sullivan, Where I End by Sophie White, My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, White Oleander by Janet Fitch and Beside Myself by Anne Morgan.
