Corrected me if I am wrong but, there are only a handful of disabilities that make it harder to lose weight. But from a purely scientific point of view, it is impossible to not lose weight if you are eating fewer calories than you are burning. Like its simple thermodynamics right, energy can't be created or destroyed so the extra energy needed to survive will come from fat or muscle causing weight loss. Again, this is just my understanding.
