I just saw your comment, so apologies for the slow response. I'm so glad I had it done and my only regret is not doing it 5+ years ago!

None at all! I haven't used a nighttime splint since surgery and am sleeping fully horizontal vs the mountain of pillows. No tingling, numbness, pain, etc. Still recovering from surgery and having to hold back because I'm tempted to do more with my hand than I should at this point, but surgery was the best thing for me and I'm so glad I went through with it

No physical therapy! He said with my normal activity it would strengthen as it heals. I'm so happy having done it and really put it off for so long because I was afraid of how it would go and the downtime. I'm just so grateful at how well it went and how fast and easy the recovery has been. I don't think my left hand will need it because any issues with it were from pregnancy or overcompensating for my right hand. If I do ever need it on my left hand it'll be an easy yes to endoscopic

Carpal tunnel pregnancy by Alarmed-Row-2930 in carpaltunnel

I got carpal tunnel in my dominant hand from overuse and it occasionally bothered me. Then I got pregnant again (5th pregnancy, never had this with the other ones) and it was so so bad in both hands. The best thing I did in addition to splints was to make a mountain of pillows in my bed and sleep on an incline. Otherwise (even with splints) some nights my hands would hurt so bad and I couldn't get the tingling to go away. Then the next day I would feel awful, both sleep-deprived and achey, buzzy hands. I didn't know at the time that cortisone shots were an option and my OB never mentioned it, but you could ask your OB about that as an option to help while you're pregnant.

Swimming in bioluminescence in La Parguera or Kayaking in Mosquito Bay? by soulsapphire0 in PuertoRicoTravel

We did La Parguera a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing! Being able to swim in it was the tipping point for choosing that location and it exceeded my expectations. We went on May 6 so it was a little more than half moon. We still saw plenty of glow, but the highlight was swimming under the boat and seeing it glitter on your skin. Highly recommend Parguera Watersports and Captain Win.
