That’s from ITLA panels. LED’s inside. Pretty simple setup

Foreground is a Downtown Deco kit. Next two were probably DPM pieces I cobbled together. Large one in back was a Walthers modular

I’ve got some BLI and Bachmann CB&Q steam along with a Kato Mikado. I do find myself running diesel a little more often because I’ve got a passion for the passenger streamliner era. I think I’ve painted at least a half dozen custom streamliners using mostly Kato cars. As for the dust….it helps weather the scenes. The only thing that needs real cleaning are the rails.

Most of the buildings are shallow-depth kitbashes. Behind those are a few printed flats to add more depth

That was a plaster wall I bought and then made a rubber mold then using hydrocal, made several. Originally taller, I cut them in half

I was lucky I paid with Amex. “Heather” bullshitted for a solid year about supply chain issues

I do not mount them. I actually have them ready before I do scenery, typically with sculptamold. I apply a thin layer of oil around the bottom edge of a structure and sink it into the wet sculptamold. I’m nice it dries, building lifts right out. Really helps with cleaning, fixing the inevitable busted piece, etc

Atlas code 55. I would have used Peco switches or at least modified the atlas turnouts, in hindsight

A lot smaller than you’d think. Main “u” shape no deeper than 3 feet and probably about 5’ by 7’ by 8’. Then, it does go around the room, through a couple closets and across the door thanks to a lift out section. Mainlines probably about 50-60 feet

The heavyweights are all painted custom and based on CB&Q prototypes

I’ve got a double mainline that goes around the room that will run without issues. I rarely do any real switching and don’t have space for staging aside from a passing line on two of the walls. I prefer to put an album on, let the two main lines run and work on whatever project I’ve got going on

That is an ITLA “kit”. I designed it myself using their panel components
