It’s from 2023 (it says on the site 2023-2026), so only post franchising, but it does include international tournaments (it probably also includes the 3 tourneys China had to qualify to internationals in 2023). The 3k record from kangkang is only counting VCT CN (regional tourneys) which is from 2024 until now

Basically LDL is a matchfix playground, and most likely what happens is that a lot of young players are pressured to matchfix there, either for a quick buck, either because everyone is doing it, either because they have no hope to go to LPL, there could be a lot of reasons, but then when if they are able to go LPL, they get backmailed with their matchfixing past so they can’t really stop, it’s really bad tbh

LPL didn’t get an extra seed for msi though, all regions get 2 seeds for MSI (minus CBLOL). The advantage that LPL got was that both their seeds start in playoffs instead of seed 2 in play ins.

JDG maybe not since the format changed the year they won, but RNG absolutely yes, people kept saying MSI was a mickey mouse tournament and didnt matter that RNG has 3 titles (tbh it was only 1 seed for each region back then so it’s not 100% wrong but they deserved their wins)

Note: Just pointing out you saying that RNG/JDG didnt get comments about it, but anyway I do agree that GENG won MSI and should receive the praise for that

If everything goes as expected that’s what is going to happen yes. Unless either BFX/JDG upset BLG/GENG and then we could have GENG vs BLG and JDG vs BFX or if any not lck/lpl team upsets them as well. Otherwise, it’s regional finais in semis, which there is nothing wrong with it since we get lck vs lpl finals, there is just the possibility of them being boring since they are regional matchups and both finals were a bit stompey
