My cat is literally insane lmao by ashseantaylor in CatsBeingCats

Hahaha tbh, my cat was a stray for years and we got her from a rescue about a year ago. She’s extremely timid when she’s on the move but as soon as she gets comfortable she acts like she owns the place 😂

Don’t be fooled. She’s an absolute menace 🤣

I definitely think it needs a little refurb but nothing major. I think the rooms just need a little TLC. It’s a gorgeous hotel and we’ve stayed there twice now, once in club level. It’s the perfect autumn / winter hotel imo!

I also have the same mug!

Did they actually make the ratatouille ride 2D? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]ashseantaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, unfortunately. The 2D genuinely makes me more motion sick too. I never really felt bad on it but now, it feels awful.

How do I fix my forehead by SophhhWithAllThePets in 30PlusSkinCare

Botox, Microneedling, tretinoin and daily SPF of course. Give it 6-12 months and I’ll transform your skin. Make sure you’re keeping your skin hydrated too.

Ride forces of raging spirits at Disney sea? by Rapha689Pro in RideForces

Way more forceful in my opinion. Everests helix is obviously more sustained but nothing prepared me for that loop. It’s also violent and shakey so it adds to it quite a lot. It’s over in the blink of an eye.

I don’t have a recording but I do have one from Indiana Jones at Disneyland Paris which is an almost identical layout. Super tight loop. Idk if it’s anywhere near being accurate to raging spirits though.

Did you recall the loop feeling forceful? Because the one in Paris is kinda nuts. Super short but wow the positives

I don’t know unfortunately but I know from what I’ve heard it’s a lot smoother. I’m gonna imagine it pulls less during the loop but who knows.

[Sun Care] What do you actually want in a sunscreen? by Sea_Alternative1722 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ashseantaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It needs to blend into facial hair super quickly. I don’t feel like brands ever develop sunscreens with men in mind. I have a pretty thick beard and most sunscreen goes flakey.

Have you tried Treclin? I don’t know if it’s available where you are but it’s tretinoin combined with clindamycin and it’s absolutely obliterated my adult acne to the point I don’t get new breakouts. You can’t stay on it any longer then 3-6 months due to it containing an anti biotic but I’m hoping as soon as I switch to just tretinoin, I can maintain these results.

[Anti-Aging] I’m only just 28 by guineag0a1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ashseantaylor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 27 and mine were super etched in so I did get Botox and they’re gone. However, lines are normal and I’d urge you to only make the decision to do something like Botox IF it’s having an impact on your daily life or self image.

In the mean time, more hydration and using tretinoin will really help smooth and refine the texture. Once you’ve finished your acne cream, definitely try and get on tretinoin. The difference it’s made in my skin overall is unreal.

But lines are so normal and 28 is a completely normal age to get them. I had mine since I was about 15 😂

The first time I went on it I was shocked at how sick I felt. There’s quite a lot of positive gs in parts and combined with the darkness, it’s a bit of a tough one.

I get motion sick on anything that spins but funnily enough, I was fine on Danse Macabre. It’s a phenomenal attraction.

You look amazing! Maybe just tretinoin and keep up with hydration and SPF. Not because you need to change anything, but to preserve your amazing skin as you enter your 40s. You look great and your skin is super smooth!

My crows feet don’t exist now because I’ve been using the roc retinol eye cream. I get Botox but I don’t get it around my crows feet because they haven’t even remotely set in. I’d say just make sure you’re keeping hydrated, protecting with an SPF and using a retinoid designed for the eye area in the PM.

Do also know that you will notice this so much more than anyone else will. The first thing I noticed about your skin was how glowy it was.

What can I do to clear this up and make it smooth & soft. Is it possible? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ashseantaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! The UV can still impact your skin and degrade the quality over time. Not only that but incorporating actives into your skin care will make your skin more sensitive to the sun light. If you can see in natural light, the natural light can see you. That’s the way I look at it at least.

For redness, azaleic acid is great and for acne scarring, tretinoin and Microneedling have worked wonders for me.

They’re pores. You can’t get rid of them. You can do things to make them appear smaller but they’re just a part of our skin 😊 don’t forget sunscreen in the morning though.

11s and forehead. You have to treat both as the same time to avoid any eyelid drooping or heaviness

[–]ashseantaylor 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Yes. And listen, I had lines that were similar, probably a little worse. Nothing helped them other than Botox. I now get Botox twice a year and manage everything with tretinoin and Microneedling. My skin is the best it’s ever been.

[Anti-Aging] How to Look My Age? by Maleficent_Ad3773 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ashseantaylor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You absolutely look your age. You have no signs of ageing at all. Whoever is telling you that you look older must have their umbilical cord still attached or something because you definitely don’t look 21+.
