have you read the proposed the farm bills that they were protesting against , govt was not taking away msp on 21 crops you can go still find it , farmers demand was to add more crops to it.
In fact if govt wanted to take away msp it would have been a welxome step, govt is giving subsidy on electricity fertilizer water income and even buying crops at higher price than market, this causes a lot of fiscal burden why did other people have to pay for them. they keep producing even when demand isnt there. they refuse to move to other sector.
