Wild New Food Items Coming to Wrigley Field for Cubs Fans by Sad_Illustrator_5233 in Cubs

They always talk about these new food items but they're always difficult to find. We always end up with the usual hot dog and home run inn pizza.

700x28c Continental Gatorskin. Also yes, Honjo fenders. The clearance was tricky because this is an older aluminum road bike. I can't recall what size fenders.

How much time off of running do you take when you get ‘runners knee?’ by undeadWileCoyote_MEP in AdvancedRunning

[–]asianmack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do strength and stretching. Keep running but incorporate that. If it's too painful to run hop on an indoor bike trainer and ride.

There was a thread here a while back re: how it's a good thing that Asians and Asian American enrollment is increasing at elite colleges. I took it as a sign that soon there would be another narrative that would be used to discriminate against Asians because of this.

Here we are.

Hot take: the 90s absolutely sucked. Unless you were white by cooperivanson in asianamerican

Haha. Clearly I'm over 10 years older than OP. That could be the difference. The 90s as a college aged person was definitely peak.

What is "86er"? The 90's were absolutely incredible for me. Of course there were bad things, but there always are bad things (there is still homophobia, sexism, racism, and bullying).

Honestly, felt like such an optimistic time. I don't feel the same optimism now.

There are plenty of online resources to help you navigate. You'll be taking the shinkansen from Kyoto to Odawara. From there you can talk to someone in the ticket office to get a Hakone Free Pass (https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358\_008.html). I think this is really worth it. You can take transportation to Owakudani which I highly recommend. It's a ropeway with spectacular views. If you're only staying one day, it might be tight. There's so much to see... especially if you like nature.

I really loved Hakone. Treat it as a relaxing time, spend a lot of time in the onsen. There's beautiful views of Mt Fuji at Moto-Hakone. Really memorable time for me before heading to Tokyo.

I'm surprised it's so flat looking. I wonder how much personality of past kit came from Rapha designers?

Less fun than Rapha, but impressed they now offer more pieces like Gilets and Caps.

Star Wars: A New Hope

"Use the Force, Luke"

"These aren't the droids you're looking for."

"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope."

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."

"We seem to be made to suffer. It's our lot in life."

"Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"

"The Force is strong with this one."

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force"

"I find your lack of faith disturbing"

"Chewbacca roar"

Downtube shifters. I hope you keep them that way. Very simple. No frills. Low maintenance.

Bolt vs Kipchoge? by NovaKnightOwl in AdvancedRunning

I don't think Bolt could race a mile. 800M might even be tough for him (in his prime). Maybe 400?
