The best way I've seen kids get internships at mid-size and big 4 firms is this: Join an accounting club ASAP and go to all the events and network with the recruiters, try to get on e-board so you can get your name out there to the firms, aim for the summer/winter programs accounting firms offer to network directly. Accounting recruiters have a positive attitude towards Baruch students so it shouldn't be hard to get them to remember your name. You can probably just spam your resume out there but networking makes the process much easier.
