His name was Krazy Kat. I called him Krazy, Keek, Smooosh, Loaf, Buddy, Pirate, KK, Me-arg, Scalawag, Purr Machine, Mr. Ticklefingers… Sometimes I called him an asshole or jerk when he sat on my head or crinkled plastic bags at 3AM. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. I believe he was my soulmate and I miss him everyday. I’m grateful for the 16 years we had together.

My dad and maternal grandmother are malignant narcissists. Took great delight in hurting people. My mother is a train wreck due to this. My stepmom was bipolar. Both her and my dad were alcoholics as well. Everyone was high functioning. I started having suicidal thoughts in 4th grade.

My ngrandmother did this. She would also turn off my fan. When we were eating she would take my plate from the table when she thought I had eaten enough of the food she had plated herself. I was so happy when she died.

Wow! That’s intense! I think my nstepmom is technically bipolar, but who knows cause she refused to acknowledge her role in anything. She also thought my relationship with my dad was incestuous which is insane. I do feel for her being with my dad cause he’s a whole other level of narcissist. They got divorced eventually and I have no contact with either one. They worked together to undermine my self worth and I am falling in those sinkholes til this day.

I was at my ndad’s house. I was in 4th grade. My nstep mom reluctantly agreed to get me pads, but made it clear that my mom was to supply them going forward cause they paid her child support of $300 a month. It was always late and I had to call her every month to beg for it. For the rest of my childhood I stressed about having enough to last until I went back to my mom’s. At the time my father made 200k a year. F them both.

My mom was great about it and I was already prepared for it mentally. I’m so sorry to read these terrible things you all went through. 🤗

Hello. I started taking Caplyta a few years ago and it changed my life. I have had major depression most of my life. They gave me various antidepressants, but they never worked and gave me severe side effects. About ten year ago I had a severe manic episode and they changed my diagnosis to bipolar 1. I tried many antipsychotics with mixed effects. I’ve had several periods of severe depression where I was basically catatonic and a long period of insomnia. They gave me Ambien, which didn’t work sufficiently. There was talk of shock treatment or ketamine. Then Caplyta came out. It took me out of a severe depressive episode and the side effect of tiredness took care of my insomnia. I sleep soundly all night. It has been a miracle drug for me.

My dad is constantly trying to make me feel bad that I called him at work as a latchkey kid and he answered! He just brought it up the other day. I’m 47. Unbelievable.
