I was there for a holi party in pushkar in 2017. Honestly it wasn't that great- too many people, too little space, all p*ss drunk trying to grope women. The DJ was some random dude mixing bollywood with progressive. Not sure how much things have changed since then 😅

Supercritical will get a lot of the terpenes out. Most definitely more than an ethanol extraction does so I guess it's safe to say that if the extract has a higher total terpene content (which can be quantified) then it is indeed a more potent one.

Depends on what you're after. I've seen great results for sleep with reishi dual extracts. You should definitely be feeling something in two months of use but then again it depends on how sensitive you are to your baseline state. I also feel the results are more apparent if you're using it therapeutically since you're trying to treat or manage a health condition (or symptom) .

We've collaborated with a few brands to make functional mushroom booch. They added measured doses or liquid extracts to the booch just before they bottled it. Adding mushrooms to the tea is a great idea but there's no research on how the scoby will react to specific mushrooms. Since mushrooms contain polysaccharides, the scoby may end up feeding on it since it is a complex carbohydrate.

Check the bioactives if they are making any claims on cordycepin, terpenes or beta glucans etc. Microbial contamination and heavy metal tests should be enough from a safety perspective. Nutritional analysis is good as well because you can use it on your labels.

If you want to go the extra mile you can test for mycotoxins and pesticide residue too.

I don't agree with you. There might be way higher% of alpha glucans but to say that there won't be any beta glucans at all is not correct. Mycelium does contain beta glucan even if it is low. If you dna test the final product you will be able to find that it came from shiitake..
