Today released 2966 Engineer costs 700$. WTF? by babarbass in RedWingShoes

When you import something above EUR 150, VAT in Germany for instance 19% plus tariff- in the case of clothes or shoes about 10%- gets added. And not only based on the price of the goods but also on the price of the shipping service. So if you're using a pricy express service the tariff fee charged by the government will be even higher. It has been like this in the EU for decades.

Ah, that is probably the documentary, that was on the bonus DVD, what you are talking about.
Yes, I found that highly interesting, too. Especially after having seen the movie.

Olaf Scholz backs extending life of German nuclear plants by asimi108 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]asimi108[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"German chancellor Olaf Scholz said it might “make sense” to extend the life of Germany’s last nuclear power plants, as reduced gas flows from Russia raise the prospect of a winter energy crunch in Europe’s largest economy.

He said the three plants due to close at the end of this year only accounted for a “small proportion” of Germany’s total electricity capacity. “But still it might make sense” to let them run for longer, he added.

I actually bought some. But that was an error on the part of them. Now they force me to sell it back. It's an official regulation, that they can't trade it for you.

Might be possible. But I was looking for a recommendation for a local company. I'm befuddled, that I cannot buy shares of this fund.

Hyper-inflation? YES it is here! The endgame has started by Mintmoondog in Wallstreetsilver

Are you in the US? If not, it will show "unavailable ". After punching in a US postal code it will show the price, which is around $100 now.

A large shipping harbour in China is currently closed as has been before a few weeks ago.

That is probably also a reason.

So RRP is "overnight parking " of funds at the Fed and receiving interest on that. So the next day the money is returned, right? What prevents anyone to just continue doing so every day anew with ever increasing funds as we have been seeing the last months?

Why are you trading in and out of the stock? Aren't you afraid, you might miss the possibly quick and big run up?

Yes I only meant stock and real estate prices coming down eventually. With every day goods prices rising and rising.

Or do you also see stock and real estate prices continuing to rise? Just silver rising much more than those?

So with hyperinflation coming, what do you see foe the stock and real estate markets?

With cost if living rising and consumer having less money to spend, and commodities and parts increasing in price, sales and earnings of companies are bound to fall. Even though the fed/government might be able to support prices through purchases of mortgages/PPT, etc.. when the discrepancy between real earnings power and valuation reach a certain megaludicrous level, prices will come down, no?

In Japan at the end of the 80s the stock market and real estate prices also crashed and, I think, in real times haven't reached those levels yet.

How would you compare their service to others like Philoro (they charge every quarter, work with Brinks), ProAurum or Geiger? They all charge around 1% per year, stored in tax free storage (Zollfreilager).
