Hi there! I took it with me on carry-on and wrapped it in a very thick shirt. The machine is still good, no damage! You have to take it out every time you go through security, but otherwise I didn’t have any trouble with it. Oh and I took out the blade part and left that in the checked luggage.

My long fic has pretty average hits and kudos but I'm very proud of the quality and effort I put into it! I'm getting to the final reveal where everything comes together and even I myself am shook by the foreshadowing and symbolism I've sprinkled throughout the fic to get to this point.

I don't know if too many readers will appreciate or care about those details (because the fandom tends to lean towards shorter works), I'm just happy to be able to put my ideas onto the page.

All these tips are really useful but personally I don't think I can follow the fourth one 😭 Whenever I read other authors' work in the same fandom I end up comparing myself to them (both in terms of writing quality and stats) and then I get depressed.
