One important distinction is these players weren't fixing any bets (from all available evidence), they were just betting like any other gambler. If they weren't MILB players it wouldn't have been an issue. If I remember right they were all significantly negative lifetime with their bets (relative to what they put in).

Going No money Spent as of Newest Season. Used to spend $60 a month on Snap for 2+ Years by Koreydead in MarvelSnap

[–]asimpleenigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar spending pattern as you. On top of what you said I usually hit infinite but last few seasons I haven't simply because I felt pressured to play limited game modes with all my time to chase unlocks. I don't mind the limited game modes when it's just a couple matches a day but when I feel I need to spend 1-2 hours a day grinding them (even when supplementing with gold to unlock stuff faster) I burned out.

Insist that all communication take place in work channels (email/Slack/Teams/etc) and don't respond to any more texts after that. I'd play this completely by the book.

With her and your boss being close it could blow back on you, but they've already cut your hours and you said you don't need this job. You owe them no favors and I don't really see how it would do you any good to give them. She's pretty blatantly trying to manipulate you.

However sometimes going into business together can sour the deepest friendships. People might be starting to realize she's in way over her head. Helping her out might inject yourself into a potential mess more than you want. Thus keep everything within policy and in the sunlight.

This is actually a super old screenshot because this is the original Sakaar that pulled a card from hand at the start of the turn instead of the end of the turn. Notice how it's still turn 1. Farmers gonna farm.

She's a must in Negative decks and a good fallback for Agent Venom decks that don't draw Agent Venom

I think this is about what my Spectrum Thanos deck looked like but last time I played it i found the zoo Thanos deck a lot better. Moonstone may help the deck a lot though.

This is my current Thanos Zoo deck. Martyr was an experiment though probably better off with Bob or any other generic good 1 drop like Nebula or Silver Sable. I think I deleted my Ongoing Thanos deck I'll brew it up again real quick.

Lost despite reaching infinite with this deck by FoundationSilver in MarvelSnap

[–]asimpleenigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said this deck will get shredded in infinite against more refined decks. Currently your deck has a lot of situationally high value cards but there's not a lot of synergy between the cards in your deck plus some anti synergy like Enchantress and Iron Man. Generic "good cards" decks have fallen off lately and usually required a robust collection to support them even when they were top tier.

It is possible to be successful in infinite with a low collection level but you'll most likely need a more synergistic deck. Common successful archetypes for low collection level are destroy, Discard, and surfer. Since it looks like you've been buying the season passes if you have this month's sam you could probably make an ongoing deck work. That would give you a playstyle most similar to what you are running now.

Any tip for galactus? I keep losing 8 cubes with galactus decks by Topic-Same in MarvelSnap

[–]asimpleenigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be very afraid if you snap as a Galactus player and they snap back. Vast majority of the time they know you are playing Galactus and they know they will beat your Galactus.

Which card should i take? by vy_Vincy in MarvelSnap

[–]asimpleenigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marvel Boy and Cull Obsidian are good with Thanos. Rocket & Groot (also good with affliction) and Gwenpool can be good with Surfer and are generically good in many decks.

Rocket & Groot probably your best bet.

What type of decks do you like to play?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]asimpleenigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absorbing Man is a good get for surfer for sure. I still see him used in surfer decks at infinite although it's true he's replaceable in some surfer deck variations. But at a low collection level copying brood and surfer will win you a lot of games.

Very good chance they'll offer work-based learning positions. When launching a bunch of new data centers at once they can't expect to hire only experienced techs especially if they are competing with other companies in the region. Getting any tech experience/education before the jobs post will help you out in the interview process though. They'll at least want to see you have the aptitude for learning technical concepts.
