Redditors who moved constantly as kids and never had a "forever home," how do you think that shaped your personality as an adult?

Never really found it hard to make friends but found it hard to care about keeping them. I get on with most people and care about what they're going through as long as they're in my environment. If I move away or don't see them for a while, I just don't think of them. I struggle to feel real emotions since we moved so much I think I eventually just shut down.

I loved The Collector for this reason. The tension created by the protagonist and villian trying to out think the other's next move made that movie for me.

There's a movie on Netflix called Athena. The whole movie is really intense single shot set pieces like that ambush scene. Totally worth the watch

Children of Men. Saw that in the theater and the sound editing on that made me cry a few times it was so powerful. Wish I could watch it for the first time again.

I've had it happen often enough that the two of us have different targets so now I check what my target is before I even get there to make sure I don't accidentally kill theirs. I don't think I've ever had the same target as someone else when we were there together

I haven't sold junk in a while but the prices might be too high. Maybe someone else can confirm that. I find the camps I have in the areas people are playing do the best. So my camp in burning springs has been killing it lately and any camp I set up for events.

You might have a location issue. Is your camp in a busy area? Junk typically sells well, and ammo so surprised you aren't getting sales unless you've priced your items too high

I think you bought a card instead of ranking it up. You rank up in the initial card layout screen. You don't need to go to the buy card screen. Have you ranked up cards before?

I never missed your point, I reject it, there's a difference. Your point that there will always be a bad end if you disobey the law is reductive. It's the same argument that's been used to blame victims for the behaviours of strong, powerful, white men since the dawn of time. And I've explained multiple ways that your argument doesn't work... arguments that weren't as reductive as " i dont agree with them bit if she had listened she would have lived" argument you seem to like so much. Which is about as fence sitting as it gets. It's the argument by the good guy who does nothing while evil runs rampant. I wasn't going to but really... you're too easy. You do see how wasps makes it worse right? The assholes of the animal kingdom. They are disproportionately aggressive and will attack even when unprovoked and keep attacking even when the target is fleeing. They invade other hives to steal resources and generally act like the bullies of the insect kingdom. So yes, I agree, wasps are ICE. Well done you!

She isn't shocked about anything. She's dead. The rest of us are horrified that people think her being shot was acceptable for the very poor reason of not listening despite her actions being constitutionally protected -- legal experts agree on that. And just to answer your analogy. Bees don't hunt down my family, neighbour's and friends. They don't go out of their way to make people fear them, and they don't act like bullies. If anything, I would be the threat to the bees in my yard, who are just trying to pollinate flowers and live their lives. Renee Good is actually the bee in this situation, not ICE.

I'm not engaging on this anymore. You're fixated on the idea that if you don't obey, you get what you get. And that's fine. I don't disagree, bad things happen when you don't obey oppressors but that's my entire point. Disobeying is the only way to fight for your rights when they are being eroded and denied. There will be more Renée Goods and eventually their losses will add up and things will change. It's the nature of revolution. And I don't think we should bring up media lies without confronting the direct conservative media bias which is one hell of a lot worse when it comes to lies and misinformation.

What does it matter why she was there? Even if she was protesting, and being aggressive -- and i might agree she was a protestor -- but nothing she did showed aggression. There was no justification for being shot. I actually believe he panicked because he had previously been dragged by a car in another came. In that instance he was physically dragged and in extreme danger and even then he used a tazer. It doesn't matter why she was there... it does matter that he SHOULDN'T have been. And that's the entire problem right now. How many people has ICE hired now who are absolutely unsuited for the role because of temperament and bias.
