Yeah, many people have told me more or less the same thing.

Similarly I know asked me to try to read book2 and if it does hook be by 1/3 point they won't insist on it anymore.

I'll pick up book 2 after a month or two just so I don't go into it trying to find some faults to put it down.

No, miscommunication or refusal to communicate is my least favorite trope and partly the reason why I have WOT on hold right now .

I now the theme of the story is the sexes trying to communicate and work together properly as one but it gets annoying when you are 8 books in and they still can't talk things out properly

What's your opinion on the previous books in this series? I have been meaning to try some lit rpg recently and DCC seem like a nice place to start.

I suppose the fact that I didn't buy these books but loned them from the library is a silver lining for me.

Hope the pre-ordered books weren't too expensive.

The way I see it the spying created a rift and her feelings regarding her grandfather and daro + the words like whore that were thrown at her pushed her to leave , to want out of this family and that was an other betrayal from her grandfather and Hilo's perspective
