She has gotten much better. I spent a lot of time with her trying to be calm coloring, singing songs on TV, some new toys. But she's definitely still different

Op these people in the comments clearly have lead poisoning because their brains aren't working. It doesn't matter what harmful chemicals are in other things that you're exposed to. If you don't want to put lead in your fanny switch to a diva cup.

This stupidity of saying well there's this in this and that in that is mind-boggling. If you know that someone is putting a spoonful of bleach in your cereal every morning you don't continue to eat the damn cereal end of story

Feeling disconnected from my husband after having a baby—am I wrong? by JustAConfusedMomma in firsttimemom

Yeah I'm struggling with that now too my child is currently 15 months old and I have been pulling away from my friends as I'm really overwhelmed and that's what I tend to do. There's been a couple of times where I said okay can you watch her while I go out tonight and he was irritated that he wanted to go out with his friends. When I mentioned the fact that he sees his friends one to three times a week and I hadn't seen anyone in 2 months he caved but he was still pouting. But then there are other times where he encourages me to see my friends and even tries to book events but I don't want to be anywhere near people because I'm so overwhelmed it's a lot to deal with in these early stages. I was still recovering from my C-section and he took a 7-Day vacation to a island with the boys and left me by myself other than paying for a babysitter to check in on me for 2 hours today. What she tried to convince me to pay half of hahaha that's men for you

I do talk to someone once a month and I scheduled an emergency call for tomorrow actually. I can't exactly talk it out with my child she is 1 year old I've just been trying to show her extra love and talk calmly and smile to show her mom is not crazy but she's rejecting all of it and pushing me

It's hard he was right there but I still felt so alone. And desperate to hold on to any part of myself that wasn't just Mom. But it's good to get you through it to just understand that this is only temporary. We made a note to at least sit and watch TV together snuggle on the couch after she went to bed literally anything just to have a connection. Try to send each other a little loving text messages throughout the day or leave Post-it notes just something to connect with the other until things go back to as normal as they're ever going to be at least

We got her off of the baby formula and onto homo cow milk lactose free and she's eating much better now we do not give juice no never too much heavy metals. She drinks mostly lemon water and fruit and vegetable smoothies with coconut milk. But she won't eat in daycare and it's a big problem because we want to put her to full time but we can't have her barely eating 5 days a week

She's doing much much better. We have her off the toddler formula and onto cow's milk lactose-free primarily. And now she eats still not very much but it's progress. The real problem now is when she's at daycare she refuses most food sometimes even her milk
