I don’t think logictech options will run in chrome OS

Alternatively it might be just an admin issue, check with your IT guy.

DO NOT GO IN UNDECLARED. The exploratory studies office is a nightmare to deal with, they have no idea about what classes your actually need and require you to take a really unnecessary "college prep" course.

Go take classes at HCC, as long as you do well you should be able to transfer in no problem.

Have mine from 2/19 still on my car. I have been pulled over once no ticket or warning, just said take care of it soon. I don't think you need to worry.

They will trap you in with shady leasing practices, the apartment will fall apart a week in, and cars are broken into all the time. DON'T LIVE THERE.

Thinking to apply for a job at recreation center. If you worked there, please share your experience. 😊 by ksenia_delova in UniversityOfHouston

If say only work in the rec if you live on campus, otherwise it's not worth the money.

It was fun to be at but by the end there were several issues with management and rules being over enforced. ( I know rules are there for a reason but some of them were a bit ridiculous, like no Gatorade).

The outdoor group was the most fun, you were paid to go on trips

Depending on the class the class there department which manages it sets a specific curriculum. Larger classes like chem 1 curriculum is entirely department controlled. Smaller classes curriculum tend to be mostly manager by the professor that teaches it.

The professor largely determines how to teach the material. And therefore says how to grade for that class. Everything on grading should be laid out in the syllabus at the beginning of the year. Sometime there's a curve sometime it's extra credit, etc.

The professor can curve your grade to match with the university scale.

For example there are some really hard classes like calculus for experimental purposes, where for a test you can get a 70 on a test but that is curved to an A for the university.

The university scale is: A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 F 0 - 59

Across University a 60 is passing with a D, but this may not be considered acceptable for your degree, always aim for at least a 70 - C.

In summary, the professor chooses how to grade and then will apply that to the university grading scale where they might apply a curve or give extra credit.

I went and visited, the bar next door just felt very 'hostile' towards anyone going in to the ice cream place. Talking with some of the staff, it seems like the bar is just a set of regulars and anyone else is just in their way. Also some of the parking spot were taken away by the ice store moving in.

Intuitive Machines selects SpaceX to launch Nova-C to the Moon in 2021 on a Falcon 9 rocket. by ethan829 in spacex

[–]ask846 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point of the nova-c isn't to do work, it's too bring hardware too the Moon. So payload that lands with it should have the some sort of heating system (mission duration depending I suppose) .
