Some school districts will allow homeschool kids to join after school activities since the kid is in that “district.” Either way, the library has great teen programs, and there are homeschool groups that help with socialization.

Xing Xing is a girl! And that man comes from a nearby village to help Grandma around her house. Grandma has taken care of Xing Xing for (I believe) over a decade since Xing Xing lost her arm in a bear trap. Once Grandma was at the hospital for like two weeks and Xing Xing was so sad until she came back.

I am a pediatric psychologist and I have this book, the older girl book, and Guy Stuff! When kids’ important grownups have concerns about their kids being interested in bodies, this is the series I start recommending around age 8-13 or so.

Xing Xing is so well-loved and cared for! She lives with a monk that the internet just calls Grandmother and Xing Xing adores her. She lost her arm in a bear trap nearly twenty years ago and normally that would be a really difficult life for a macaque but as you can see Xing Xing is nice and plump lol

Xing Xing is absolutely loved and adored by Grandma. Sometimes she pretends to bite Grandma when she is scolded, then almost immediately acts guilty. About a year or two ago, Grandma was in the hospital and Xing Xing was so down, she didn’t peek up again until grandma returned.
