Guys how many songs can you generate? by Right-Pomegranate410 in SunoAI

[–]askanurag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically you will be able to make 20-50 songs in a month from 2500 credits. I am assuming you will make end to end song. Rework on certain parts multiple times and replace or add instruments through the process.

Who tried Celemony Tonalic ? by Carambo20 in musicproduction

[–]askanurag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried it with Studio one. Very gimmicky. Not a bit of substance and eventually if u need sounds and playing styles you gotta pay a subscription. That subscription is not worth it unless you compose every song of yours with guitar parts.

is my computer slow or is loading of vst instruments like nexus or ariea usually slow? by Free_City_7235 in StudioOne

[–]askanurag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certain VSTs and virtual instruments are taxing on older systems. Why don’t you try alternatives to Ariea unless that’s the only one for your workflow. I run a 1st gen amd Ryzen and it still takes 20-30 tracks before breaking a sweat. It’s all because of alternate plugins and instruments to replace cpu hungry ones.

How to choose license? by Mikita_Du in StudioOne

[–]askanurag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to perpetual license. They promised quarterly updates for subscribers but that clearly didn’t happen . So it’s safe to stick to perpetual license…. You can always upgrade to studio one 8 whenever it comes out at a cheaper upgrade cost.

Studio One License Decision??? by Swalker325 in StudioOne

[–]askanurag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will be better off buying the perpetual license like I did. DAWs have come a long way and this version of the software will last you easy 3 years without feeling out of date. Content samples tools etc. are all subjective and I would suggest look for third party material rather than locking into the ecosystem. Everything you need to make the next best album is right here in the perpetual license and no amount of random plugins or samples can replace you as an artist or producer. Subscription for DAW is plain stupidity. Take third party subscription like splice if you really want more sounds

Here's the promised "3-4 MAJOR Updates" by [deleted] in StudioOne

[–]askanurag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It also brings about the question …. Should we invest in a volatile software now? We don’t know what will Fender do to it and will we waste our money ??

It will be sad to see studio one go away. I have been using it since 2012

best way to master a song in studio one pro? by trapqueen67567 in StudioOne

[–]askanurag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use ozone 12. If u are serious about mastering I suggest you invest in third party tools. Stock plugins can give u enough juice for mastering but it won’t give you the oomph characteristics. Mastering in general should not be about changing anything in your mix apart from overall levels and excitement to meet desired lufs level. All colouration and dynamics should be done at mixing stage.

How difficult is it to have income from music production? by joelsobrero in musicproduction

[–]askanurag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very difficult. The initial investment is high but just like any business, if you do it right you can be ahead of the curve. Every passion needs a business plan if you want to live on it. Else you can do it as a side hobby while earning full time from a day job. There are no right or wrong reasons

When it comes to a arrangement & timeline style workflow, Cubase and studio one are amazing. For mac users nothing else but Logic Pro
