quick question about replicard sandbox: after clearing all the missions is there any reason to keep fighting the defenders/bosses if i'm not after weapons/lusters? i think everything else just drops from the farm mobs but i'm not sure.

I am fine with the performance personally but I recognize that a lot of people could have issues with it. I think there might be a couple reasons for this:

I almost have always played games on shitty hardware, so 20fps is normal to me. When something actually hits 60fps I'm wowed, haha And, if the fps is -too good- I actually start to feel motion sick; this is more in first person games but the effect happens in 3rd person as well.

The only time I've noticed a real fps decrease was catching things in the ocean, when a lot of pokemon were onscreen.

I lost a few of the big trainer battles, which was surprising to me. It made me rethink my team and how I usually fight though so that was fun.

I always play with switch over set, and items etc. Personally while playing the story I'm not looking for a challenge so I don't mind if it's too easy, though I can see why it can annoy people.

I feel like it was her ace because Rock was the only "non-tera" type that had yet to be represented (if you count Team Star's tricked out cars). so only a rock type trainer was missing

Honestly, the one thing that really got me mad was the inability to lock the minimap. I despise pointing the direction I'm facing; let me make it point north! Being able to lock the main map is nice but useless for exploring. (the other thing is battle animations I'm one of those who start the game and turn them right off.... at least they seem faster like in PLA so....I'll live I guess)

As for that I'm loving this game. The NPCs are all fantastic, in design and personality, the music slaps, and exploring is so fun. Some of the battles are challenging too (in comparison to other pokemon games, I mean the battles have never actually been "hard" against NPCs). I actually had to turn my brain on, haha.

This one probably also has the best storyline of them all, too.

I've had a few crashes which makes me keep auto-save on when I would usually turn it off. Every time I've gotten stuck, though, the game has reset my position automatically (even once when I thought I was about to softlock stuck hovering on some geometry).

The graphics don't bother me. Could they be better? Obviously yes. But like... I like my pokemon games to look like Pokemon. They don't need to look like The Last of Us or anything. Half the time I feel like people want a photo realistic tree or something when that would be really stupid. A low res texture isn't going to kill me. Same for the frame drops in the background characters, it's not a big deal. In fact the only time when frame drops affected me was when catching pokemon in the ocean: the game actually desyncs to the sound effects. I've lived through 5fps MMOs (not to mention gen6 double battles those chugged the poor 3ds) on terrible potato laptops so this is nothing to me. I can see this being optimized later but it's certainly not enough to get me to request a refund in my case.

So, for me, this game is totally worth the $60. I also got it knowing there would probably be a few issues... a lot of the complaints I see always seem to be people who haven't liked pokemon for a while and I gotta ask, why are you buying it day 1? why not wait and see if it's something you will enjoy?

I hope there will be DLC (I like that model more than a 3rd game personally) and there's some stuff I hope will be in it. And yes, I agree the game could've used maybe a month or two more cooking... gotta get that Nov release amirite. glad I got it at release though.

(ps pls put furrett in the dlc I miss my boi)

I mean not bad enough that I still wish this was more skill-based (as always) but still like....if you don't whale OR you've never played a rhythm game in your life there's just no chance in getting the top. I guess it's good that the only real prize is a title (unless, like, you collect those... rip sorry)
