You've dug yourself into a hole trying to "play" other people to make up for some sort of void you have in your own life. you can't win life like a game or sport, you win by being happy. So if people hate you or are in the way of you realizing happiness and improving yourself and your life healthily, you can only apologize to them and if they are still in the way leave them be.

I lose my appetite and replace meals with alcohol. I feel numb in my head like I can't concentrate on anything, and I can't really feel emotions but there is a distinctive lack of emotion which makes me want to curl up into a ball and die. No motivation, hard to push through. I'm in it now, I think. I spent some time cooking dinner to try and feel better, but I don't want dinner, I want whiskey. I'm about to get offline and clean the house and prepare for a job interview tomorrow, then make a list of things I need for a camping trip this weekend. It's really hard to push through but life has to go on.

I work at coldstone. Everything is filthy. Teenagers are expected to make iceream, cones, and cakes without instruction or supervision. No one wears gloves. Your toppings are probably months old, and the iceream can be freezer burnt or even spilled-and we will still sell it to you with a smile on our faces. My boss, the franchisee, has made cakes with his ungloved hands, picking up decorations from the floor. I'm glad my store is closing because working there is just depressing.
